you shouldnt have any problems having FT stuff shipped to Germany.
Very few people in the Western Euro-zone (Germany France UK etc.) actually get taxed but you are normally supposed to pay VAT (more or less 20% depending on the country) on the items.Keep the parcels a reasonable size and it should go thru no problem with nothing to pay (providing you dont use a Courier service such as Fedex DHL UPS TNT ...only use regular registered mail...with the Courier services you will not only pay all possible taxes but also heavy extra added fees from the Courier service...an all around bad surprise on arrival !)Split it into several orders if necessary since FT offers free shipping (dunno how much you're intending to buy?)

You need to count approx 2 weeks delivery time but as other posters have said, Chinese New Year delays things alot.

Customs online - Homepage

Is english site of German Customs....

In fact, if you just visiting ( i.e. not taking up residence in Germany ), you can reclaim all VAT ( currently 19% on non basic items ) on items purchased here when returning with them to Brazil.

Heed cllmda's advice, please. Going with courier you pay an arm and a leg in service charges. Registered airmail..well, Chinese write two-bucks-something on the customs declaration, regardless whether you've ordered a single paperclip or a disassembled aircraft carrier ;) . With about 50000 parcels flooding through the airmail hubs every day, odds are in your favour that they won't bother you, as the administrative hassle of collecting a few euros is higher than the actual revenue rake...
