No ship notice doesnt necessarily mean it has not shipped, sometimes the notification can come later or the next day, but it is usually that night so who knows. All the people that have been ordering recently dont realize how good you guys have it when I ordered my first precise I think I waited for close to three months. Believe it or not, the way David does it now is a vast improvement. I do know that waiting sucks though, you will appreciate it that much more when you get it though.

Ya, I know, good things take time. Just pointing out, web site said 2 to 3 weeks to ship, I'm heading for week 5, so just wanted to query. It will come, when it comes, no pressure, I'm just getting anxious.

Got my shipping notification today. Order # 13290 placed on August 27. I'm just stoked its on the way and I'll have it before I fly out next week.

Well that was pretty quick. Got it in already. Shipped out Saturday and made it down to Carolina in just two days. I can already tell that this is my favorite so far. Love my P+10 and P+18, but this P+500 seems to have the best feel in the hand. I kinda felt like I was waving a magic wand around sometimes with my big boy. Can't wait to get it home and Kick it to see how she fairs on bat life. I am getting 24hrs (+1 to -1) before I need to change out with SR and LR Boge cartos, Kicked, at around 8 watts with and 18490. If I can get even 10 hrs using an 18350 with this I will call it a super win. Big thanks to David and his crew for working some OT this weekend and getting our mods out on a Saturday to stay on schedule. You boys in Michigan haven't got anything on SEC football but you sure do make some sweet ... mods!

supert has never sold just the tubes so probably not, although maybe someday. I never thought that we would see caps for sale separately and those are suppose to be available soon so who knows. What I did was buy a 18500 flat top and 18350 slant, that way I could swap the caps if I wanted to.

So caps are or will be available by themselves? I am looking at a brass cap model, either 16340 or 10440 or both and I know the brass will wear out prematurely compared to stainless so I want to make sure I can eventually replace the caps with stainless when that day comes.

We do not have any brass anymore to speak of , just stainless steel models.

No problem Ratman... I hope you got yourself a Shockwave? ... Do you own a SuperT mod yet?
Fit and finish second to none... If you have never ordered one before have patience.... They are all hand finished/so it takes time....
I see you were asking about the brass caps... They might look nice when freshly polished, but after a few days of handling... yuck. They are more of a collectors piece, not a daily driver.
Another thing to consider is when a P+ is finished the caps and body are finished together, that way they match perfectly.... Buy a new P+ with the locking button... Satin finish is the most durable IMO....
