I was watching a few of PBusardo videos on YouTube and i stumbled onto the two where he visited the FlavourArt facilities in Italy. theres some enlightening info in those videos and i urge everyone to watch them. the people that do DIY flavours should watch them instantly.

anyways, in video #2 they talk about how when they discovered their products were being used by vapers they had to "redo" some of the flavours to make them more "inhale-able" so-to-speak and that if left the way they are they may cause bodily harm. theyre made to be mixed with cooked food ... never for inhaling.

You can now see where this is going on and how this plays in RIP TRIPPERS defense about his side effects.

This really will open your eyes as to why when you mix new flavours or try a new one then you feel rather weird or sick ... blame the flavour. is it right for you?

I dont know ... i sorta think the guy is not lying and perhaps maybe truthful?

the videos are here: video 1. and video 2

We're all entitled to our own opinion. Here's mine.

I've always thought the guy was a flake whose only interest was becoming a "YouTube sensation" and "Internet famous".

I find his videos completely unwatchable and believe the machine-gun edits are not a technique, but proof that he can't string together more than a handful of words at a time.

I never gave his "reviews" any credence and I think his assertions in his snake oil commercial that his muscle cramps and "dry knuckles" are a result of vaping are pathetically ridiculous. Or ridiculously pathetic.

Watch this and then ask yourself if he did more harm than good.

In this video they say he represents 615K of vapors, he gave them fuel for the fire.

He is no better than BT at this point, just worried about where he gets the next payday.

I was on the fence about his video until I saw how it was used.

@Marc411 Ya i did see that video like yesterday but you know what? I feel there maybe harm from some of the flavorings. We surely cant discount that fact!
Who knows if what he's saying is true or not? he may have mixed an advert into his speach. i urge you to watch the Phil Busardo video in his visit to flavourarts. there are some facts that backup Rips talk.

First off I dig the avatar!

I'm not making any judgement about his symptoms, I'm not a doctor and I don't play one on TV. There is still ongoing conversation regarding flavors and we as a community talk about it all the time. We do it to the best of our ability in a way to promote safety.

He pulled that video down because he knows that he screwed up. If he remotely thought he did the right thing it would still be posted.

He gave the anti's ammunition and they tied him to 600k+ vapors, I have a problem with that especially since I believe (regardless of what he said) that it was a paid advertisement.

Personally I don't like him and now I think he had negative impact on the community as a whole. I put him in the same category as every media person that discusses vaping without doing any research.

IF I have a leg cramp it's because I'm slightly dehydrated. Keeping the water intake up is the cure. The clue is that it happens more in the heat of summer than in Winter and it's infrequent even then.

Sure, PG probably plays a part, but you can offset it by staying hydrated. I vape 80pg. Lots of people don't stay hydrated and if they do it's with sugary drinks, not water. Water is crucial and plain water is best to wash the bad things out of the bloodstream.

I watched Rip's video from the link in post 6. It sounds like he went through a period in which he thought there was a problem associated with vaping and found that he was hypothyroid. You can't blame him for posting his journey in finding a cure.

Anti-vapers will use anything to trash vaping, but the truth is (to me) that it's a benign activity. Shortly after I stopped smoking and started vaping I was able to return in my 60's to exercising several days a week.

I do 140 reps with moderate weight on a curl bar, several sets on the Total Gym, and a half hour elliptical stationary bike ride that ramps me from 60% to 80% resistance over 6 miles in a half hour. I don't get winded and the workout makes me feel strong and alert afterward. I couldn't do it at my age if I still smoked.

All the flavouring we use started life as "food" flavourings, which have since been tweaked by the more reputable companies to remove the more undesirable substances to allow them to cater to our requirements

True, but how many generic flavor sources tweak their flavorings to bring them in line with vaping? Most non-tobacco derivatives are food related flavorings. I've ordered several flavors from Lorann's and I'm careful not to order anything that is oil based. Still, people order flavors to suit taste and may not be aware that some ingredients aren't particularly good for inhalation in a heated mist.

I agree that juice labs are aware of the potential problems and SHOULD be scrutinizing the ingredients for potential problems. It would be nice if the FDA would give us some info from an inhalation perspective since they have declared vaped juices that contain nicotine to be tobacco products. It appears that they have purposely shied away from saying anything good about vaping as an alternative to smoking.

PG may be one of the safest things in our juice.
