Hello there I have had the Tornado for a while and both the batteries caught on fire about a month ago and since then I have been getting by with a Pass through I rigged but it stopped working about two weeks ago and I have been trying to get by with Snus but it just is not cutting it. I have gathered up some money and I really need to buy another Pv asap.
I can spend $120 for everything like the unit its self and batteries + charger if it doesn't come with any.
I have not been looking around at the new Pv's for a good while and I'm not sure whats out now. I just did some browsing through the forums and found the mod database and seen a few that I liked but some are very expensive and others would take to dang long to get to me.

I'm looking for something affordable, reliable, and from 3.7v to 5v max. Fixed or vari volt. I use primarily the 510 atomizers. Also I would like to get something that has a long battery life as I hate charging batteries every 2 hours.

I was looking at the Screwdriver MK2 from Totally wicked as they have a special on them but the kit with the 510 aty's and 2 batteries, etc, is sold out. the only one not sold out is the base kit with 1 bat, and 901 atty's. Dang my luck argh!!!

The Tornado was pretty good other then the dang batteries catching on fire in my face.

Does anyone have any suggestions please?

Thanks!

I have a few eGos, a Silver bullet and a wooden bottom-feeder, and a Buzz. The Buzz has pretty much pushed everything else aside; once I became accustomed to an ideal voltage for every liquid in every situation, I couldn't live without VV.

You can get a kit (Buzz, 2 sets of batteries & charger) for $125, but with use of NotCigs 7.5% discount code (ECF Buzzkill) you'll be just under budget.

Oh yea, I forgot about the discount code.

That roughstack actually seems like a good deal theres only 4 of them left though, I wonder how lond it takes for them to ship the thing.

I'm checking out the buzz now, I just gota watch my $$ because I have $150 total and need aty's and liquid aswel. and that $150 is taking my bank account dry lol.

That Volcano inferno seems to be the same thing as the Tornado, and ego they must have a bunch of different brand names of the same pv

After checking Madvapes website the area code for their phone number is North Carolina. The Volcano, Tornado and others like them are basically just re-branded eGo's. Considering your current finances, the Madvapes models would be the more economic route. Ya gotta eat after all. lol

Too bad you don't already have the CR123 3.7V batts and charger. I had them for my GLV so my Buzz was only $115.00.
Best darn PV I own and that's coming from a GLV owner!

It's because of histories like this and my own that you ought to consider stretching your budget to get a Buzz now rather than later; I'd have saved myself better than a couple hundred dollars in mods I no longer use if I'd just got the Buzz to begin with.

I'd recommend going VV which you can do on your budget. I love having the variable control and wouldn't go back now that I've experienced it. If you're not in a hurry the Infinity is coming out soon, the Buzz tops your budget but is an awesome choice, The big Brother is a VV Box Mod that's a great choice, a few others as well.

If you're looking at Budget and not VV then you have endless choices. You can get a box mod from Madvapes for $20ish or cheaper if you buy the kit. For tube mods the RoughStack is a great choice and you wouldn't have to worry so much about dinging it up, very well built and durable.

Just for the record, I still love and use my 5V GLV2. My Chuck, Wetbox and all of my home made 6V mods however, are just taking up space. I gave away my DSE 905 at a vape meet. MistressNomad took it and has probably thrown it out by now.
