This is also why I picked up tobacco flavored, and strong nic (24mg) and harsh throat hit. Make it replace them for now, until you can smell them and just plain don't want them anymore! It's a long road, we will walk it together :)

I feel maybe it's getting closer. I like tobacco cigs a little less each time. Having my taste and smell begin to return, I'm less and less interested in the cigs and preferring the vaping. There are no cigs in the house today and I don't seem to care. I'm not sure I won't suddenly decide I just gotta have one but it's 6 pm now and I haven't seemed to care enough to do anything about it.

Maybe I shouldn't say anything, might jinx it. :)

Is there a 24/7 gas station nearby? ;)

Been there done that.

Good luck, nonetheless!

But of course. :)

Didn't make it. I mean, made it past 8 pm. Almost the whole day. But gave in.

And they taste terrible.

I am in such a weird place right now. I get the urge to have a "real one" (that still seems stuck in my head... for now) but I don't like them anymore.

Guess I'll be doing a few rounds of, "Oh, okay... ICK!" Then running for the Joye to get the taste outta my mouth. :)

Oh well, long as the trend is away from cigs, I'm happy...

Oh funniest story ever.... The over grown choc lab in my avatar hated squirrels, like any lab but this is the only time she would actually bark and stand her hair on her back up. So this one day she was chasing this big (I'm going to say kangaroo squirrel for the size and way he moved) across the yard, and of course this guy could climb our stucco and out run her no problem. Well this particular day he was not too graceful and fell out of the tree she chased him up. Funniest thing I've ever seen, he landed right in front of her and neither one knew what to do. They looked at one another in a panicked stance for a couple seconds, and both turned around and ran for their lives lol. It's that whole saying about how she wouldn't know what to do with it if she caught it.....for all the back flips and wrecked knees trying to catch these these things, wouldn't harm a hair on it's head. Damn labs, so freaking adorable

That is hysterical.

Dogs are just too funny...

Yeah, that happens all the time; the longer you can go between smokes, the worse they taste. I remember, in my early days of e-cig use, I had gone three days without a real one; when I finally grabbed a paper cig I almost fainted. It literally made me physically sick. [The next one was much easier.]

Congratulations! You're doing well! :toast:

Humans are smart like that. Is there anything other than a cigarette that we would keep trying until it didn't make us puke? :)
That first cig after a long break is both wonderful and gross.

I haven't had one in a couple of weeks now. I didn't memorize the exact date. It was before the first of March, I think.
I've been smoking since I was 12, almost 40 years. I don't mean I tried it when I was 12, I mean I was a pack a day guy by that age.
I quit once for a year. That was 3.5 years ago after a heart attack. Since then I have been smoking about 1/2 pack a day.

mkbilbo, it sounds like you are to the point where you aren't craving the nicotine but still want that cig between your fingers. Grab your PV more often. Maybe even have one ready without nicotine for those times.

Hope your surgery went well and you are recovering quicky!
Thank you so much...it's very thoughtful of you and I appreciate. Had a nose op and aside form it looking like a polish sausage I'm ok  Will have prolly go back for two more- one minor and the other kinda major.

Just wanted to say hi to everyone ... Rough few days so wasn't around - missed you guys!
I miss the ole gang to. I bumped into Katya last night by mistake and that was nice...you had a rough time? if you need a cigarette go right ahead. What mg are you using, how many ml per day and what PV?

Hey Vapoor - thanks so much for your post about not being too hard on myself and the whole "perfectionist" trap -REALLY helpful.
You're very welcome and everyone here feels exactly the same...we're all in the same boat, just different rooms. If I had a magic wand you'd be first in line.

Saw your post in another thread...
I vape while lying down all the time - just change the angle you hold the battery & you won't get juice in your mouth (sort of how you would adjust drinking from a straw while lying down)
When I'm watching TV in bed I use a "knucklehead"/ Swivel Drip Tip:
http://www.vapoursolutions.com/SMOKTECH-KNUCKLEHEAD-DRIP-TIP_p_787.html $4.95
http://www.gentlemensreserve.com/joyetech/joye-510/273-510/901-swivel-dt.html $6.99

Take care and hope I see you soon, Dan.

Nose fianlly doesn't look like polish sausage anymore. How have you been? Here's the operation I had...I'm sure you'll appreciate the "Star" factor :D

Be forewarned some profanity and that's why it's not embedded

Joe Rogan deviated septum operation - YouTube

That's crazy, don't think it's an issue for me. Sometimes I get to that point but I just go to my rents and use their steam shower for an hour, clears my sinus right up.

And as for profanity, I was a cook and now a construction worker, I swear more than a sailor lol

LOLLLL when I was with the "wrong" crew my wife would eventually step up to the plate and mention my language was lil' on the raw side while at home.

Gotta go for dinner. So good to hear from you Shane and glad everything is going so well.
Take care.
