I am in Canada and want to swap from real cigs to ecigs. I've done some research and really wanted to get the South Beach Smoke but unable as they can't ship to Canada due to the laws here. I am wondering if anyone knows of a good comparible that I can get in Canada. Or since I live 2 hours from Grand Forks, North Dakota if I can somehow buy from there and bring the starter kit back with me?

Thanks in Advance

Great, thanks. As I would like to quit smoking regular cigarettes I am interested in something smaller, lots of vapor, good throat hit, and something with an available personal charging case. I have read that the manual is better since it lets you control your drag lengths but might be a bit to get used to. Do you prefer the auto or manual? Also I'm not sure which site I should order from and what is a good price to pay, I find the prices vary quite a bit.

meggels,

I think that a lot of new vapers are concerned about it looking and feeling like a cigarette. The unfortunate downside is that most of the smaller units don't perform very well. For some people, it's great but most vapers quickly upgrade to better performing models despite the design. It really depends on your personal needs. If you are a light smoker..under 1/2 pack a day then a cigarette style will probably be sufficient for you. If you smoke more than a pack per day, you will be burning through the batteries pretty quickly which means frequent charging and refilling of cartridges constantly and frankly it becomes a pain.

If you are really set on a cigarette style (and that is perfectly fine) I would suggest making sure you get additional batteries. The PCC's are nice, but I was a pretty heavy smoker and found that I could use up a battery faster than one could charge so I always had a minimum of 3 on me at anytime.

Best of luck to you!

Hey and welcome, I have been vaping for just over 3 weeks now. I started with a little Joye started kit. It works and functions well, though I find the battery doesn't last nearly long enough. Actually on Friday night I ran out of batteries for the first time. I was a pack a day smoker. For me, I don't think its the look or feel of an analog. Its all about the nicotine baby! So, that being said. I haven't had a smoke in 3 weeks, just last week my wife asked me to light a smoke for her and i'm gonna tell you. It was bloody nasty! With all the different flavours out there and different levels of nic that you can get I'm sure you will be able to find something that will suit your needs and be smoke free in no time. Now, back to my dilemma of the batteries. I have actually ordered some eGo batteries and they should be here Monday as you will find, constantly having to recharge your batteries is a pain in the .... Now my next step is to find a good cart/atom setup to rid myself of these ridiculous poly-filled cartridges. Like I said though I feel confident that with a little searching you will find something to suit your needs!
