Yup I used the drip method, super easy I just found you have to leave it for around 20 mins to let it soak all the way through, no big deal. And as for the juice, WOW!!!! So much flavor that there is no way I can go back to pre filled now. I bought Halo for my first order, Tiki juice (not bad, but not an all day vape for me), Captain Jack (really good!), and Longhorn (I could definitely have this all day!) My wallet is about to take another hit I think :p

Halo makes some of the purest and most consistent juices. Some people love their juices, others hate them; I haven't seen many in-betweens. I only tried his early tobaccos and menthols; I liked the menthols, couldn't stand the tobaccos--they were all tasting like pine to me. Never tried Cpt. Jack or Longhorn, they must be new. I tried Tiki and Malibu--meh. OK, I guess.

But taste is so subjective. I have a big box full of other people's "greatest juices ever."

When you're right you're right! Captain Jack is like a nice pipe tobacco, Longhorn has more of that American tobacco flavor but very strong. I've been vaping all night, so tasty I'm really having a hard time putting them down lol. Both are pretty strong, don't think many of my friends would care for them. My pa tried the Longhorn tonight, he liked it as well. Yeah don't think I'll be getting tiki again, but these other two for sure. And these 1.4 ml blanks are lasting pretty good, still can't get over the difference from the pre filled I got from SI. They weren't bad or anything, but not near as good as this :D

I hear ya! I still use Halo's Truepure as my atty testing juice--can't beat their quality. But Freedom and Torque...

You can always tone down the flavor by mixing it with some unflavored nic ejuice. Many vendors carry unflavored; just PG/VG/nic. I use it often. I can't stand strong flavors...

Yeah with blank cartos a whole new world opens up with all the juices available. So glad you're happily on your way and very happy for your Dad.

Ahh Vapoor you are already here lol I just sent ya a pm, I'm sure Katya might have some ideas too. Ordered these cartos from canvape

https://www.canvape.com/product-p/808kho.htm

And the thread is male instead of female, finer than the volt. Sorry for the blurry pic, phone camera stinks. CAM00015.jpg

Thoughts?

Sorry I just had a hard time figuring out cuz they are 510 cartos with male threads!!!! I'm so very sorry and I'm not impressed with CV at all.

Not a big deal Vapoor, mistakes happen (I've made a couple myself when me and my brother were selling car parts online). It's how you fix it that is important ;)

Yes. But no cell phones. ;)

Now, if you're seriously asking about nicotine strength and how it translates to ejuices, here is the definitive answer, written by Rolygate:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...t-equivalent-pack-cigarettes.html#post5161374

Actually, at that point I was being silly. But your answer is interesting. I'm keeping my Blu cartos to (hopefully) reuse them at least some to save money and definitely to come up with some idea what I'm spending. What's interesting that falls out of the above article is that I'm using an average of 3 cartos a day. At a 3 to 5 equivalence, that's only 9 to 15 cigs per day. Which doesn't match my pack rate at all. And I'm not supplementing much at all with regular cigs. Today, I had one. That's it. And that was because the ever so flaky Blu batteries were both charging at the same time (I hope that pass through gets here tomorrow).

Now, I smoked lighter cigs (as I got older, "full flavor" irritated my throat). But the biggest thing that occurs to me is sheer waste. I had a very bad habit of lighting one, getting a drag or two, getting distracted by what I was working on at the computer, and the cig burning down to the .... before I reached for it again.

Leading to the question did I actually have a pack a day habit and was wasting half my money. Oh. Goodie.

On the other hand, that hints at the idea that if I boost the nicotine level (Blu's version of "high" isn't) and do my own refills, I could save a truckload.

Huh.

I like Boge cartos, they are still my favorite, I think Vapoor also likes them and uses them on his SD Keychain. ;)

They are a pain to fill for the first time, but afterwards, they are golden. I've really tried almost every carto on the market and single coil LR Boge and SmokTech are the best ones. They work well and if you're using clean, clear, not to thick juices, they can be refilled several times. If you put them in a tank, they last much longer; I'd say 50% longer, or better, because they are being kept moist all the time. Anyway, the key is to keep them moist, with or without a tank.

My friend Bornagainst, another Canadian, used to always remind us newbies: Top off early and top off often. :D He was one of my mentors here, years ago.

You don't need a syringe, unless you plan on filling, say, 5 or 10 cartos--a syringe makes it easy. Not worth it for a one-carto-at-a- time operations. Use the condom method, but do it slowly--the juice travels up first through the center tube and cascades down into the filler. Take your time and let the filler saturate completely before you start vaping.

What I was thinking was something I saw on a YouTube where a guy had a 223 ammo rack and 510 cartos fit it fine. A "line 'em up, load 'em up" scenario is something I'd probably do. Filling them one or two at a time just strikes me as annoying. :)

Especially if three or four a day is going to be normal for me. You know, load up a week's worth or something along those lines?

I got my syringes form a pet supply online store in CA. You can't get human syringes here legally unless you're an addict, but you can get the same syringes and needles from farm supply or pet stores. Go figure. California is just as weird as Texas. :p

Heh, oh yeah. Lived in LA about a decade. Spent plenty of time around the Hollywood set. CA's weird is just more interesting. One thing I will always love about LA is you don't have to travel the world, the world comes to you. The place is a cultural free for all. Did a contract at one of Citibank's development centers and just my little hallway there were six languages spoken. One of the funniest moments when I came back to Texas (I forget for what, family visit or something) was how everybody seemed to look alike. It was a very Stepford moment. :)

It's a weird veneer of cultural conformity layered on top of some absolute crazy. That's breaking up fast now which is, I think, why the state has gone so reactionary. You can't have a world class economy if you're hell bent on living in the 50s. So in among the right wing, reactionary stuff everybody hears about, you see things like Houston being the first major metro in the US to elect an openly gay mayor. We never get credit for that. First state to elect a lesbian mayor in their largest city (and fourth largest in the US). And she ran openly as lesbian and it was no big thing.

State is seriously schizo. :)

You're optimism is amazing. Just bummed out that someone from our little group got a mis-order. Thank you very much Katya my fellow PB groupie.

Does anyone here ever sleep?
