Hi Shane....none of your q's have been stupid...in fact we're all very impressed.
Or embarrassed. I got here first and he already knows, like, ten times what I've figured out!
Ima gonna go sit in the corner now...
Hi Shane....none of your q's have been stupid...in fact we're all very impressed.
I even know some people from my city who went there at the time and had their car trashed...
Or then again my throat get's a little naturally irritated when I've quit smoking before, maybe I just need to man up lol.
I read that is a common side effect to quitting smoking. I never had that one much myself when I've tried to quit. Others withdrawal symptoms. Evil, evil other ones. But not so much the throat thing. Or maybe I was so crazed I didn't notice? I'm a horse's rear normally. Nicotine withdrawal? I become a raving lunatic. Always two seconds away from having a shouting match with a lamp post or something.
Seem to have a touch of it now though. Sometimes, if I forget myself and try to do a cig style inhale and the vapor whacks the back of my throat, I have coughing fit. Long as I remember to hold the vapor in my mouth a while, even a short while, I'm okay. But a cig style lung powered draw and it's cough city.
You gotta wonder if they don't deliberately put stuff in stink sticks to anesthetize the throat to keep people going...

Rescues are the best! Hiya mk!![]()
I'm so sorry you lost your dogs but it sounds like you have some great memories. The dogs were lucky to have found a home with you - hopefully one day you will be ready to rescue another one.
still astounded - now down to about 2 cigarettes a day - ie about 28 avoided!
Maybe later. Definitely not now. And you're right, great memories. When I catch myself getting "down" about losing them, I force myself to remember something good. Especially something funny. Have to remind myself I was lucky to know those two.
Boy, did I get off topic or what?
By the way...
Me too. Astounded that is. I had, oh, three yesterday? Something like that? Started to think negatively about it. Caught myself and reminded myself I may have had three but I did not have the other 23 to 33 I would have had only two weeks ago. Which is startling in its own right. It'll be two weeks this Sunday. Had to catch myself and ask, "You wanna miracle or something? This much of a drop ain't miraculous enough for the first two weeks?"
I have to consciously choose to count the ones I did not smoke. Not the few I did. And considering I could often plow through a carton in a week (sometimes less), the "not smoked" number is in the hundreds now. Already.
I would never have believed anybody who told me this could happen. I would have laughed in their face. But, there it is...
Hi, Shane! My 5-9 ml is not a strict rule, it's just a vague estimation, based on my experience and personal preference. There are many variables involved; what kind of carto is being used (some last longer that others); what kind of juice (light, clear, barely flavored eliquids will extend the life of your cartomizer, while the dark, sweet, gooey ones will clog the coil much faster); what wattage (the hotter the vape, the sooner the coil may pop), and how frequently the carto is being refilled--moist cartos last longer than cartos that are allowed to dry out between refliis) etc., etc.
Generally, I feel that the quality of vape begins to diminish after 10 ml or so; if you use a tank, a carto will last much longer. Bottom line--if you're getting enough vapor and the taste is fine, don't worry about it. There are people who use cartos for days. Of course, if you get that dreaded burnt taste, you have to chuck it.
