Just taken delivery of a pair of TrusFire 18650 2400mAh 3.7v Li-ion batts which I intend to use (one each) in two 3.6/3.7v Magnum clones replacing the current triple NiMh power packs. The current units are charged "in situ" via a DC power socket in the base of each mod.My question-has anyone ran a flying charge lead from the TrusFire charger (simple soldered pick up from both the positive and negative contacts of the charger) and, via a DC power socket re-charged the Li-ion battery in situ within the mod, thus negating the need to remove the battery.I see no problem with this procedure however I am allways mindfull of unseen troubles.

i dont see a problem with that at all , ive never had any of these batts get hot while charging ,even leaving them go for 12 hours at times
as long as the charger you are using has overcharge protection you should be fine
the ultra and trustfire chargers pictured below have this feature
im glad i got these in before deal extreme sell out do to the imminent rush for these by prodigy buyers:D
