Hey Chris, how's the weight and length compare to the Tox? I really like how light this thing and wondering if the Tox is much heavier. Also the length isn't bad but shorter would be even better (I'm thinking Tox in mini mode would be quite a bit shorter?).

Thanks! Now I've got to decide which I like best, this or the Twist or maybe the Tox. This things voltage adjusting I like better than the Twist, but I'm not crazy about stacked batteries (if they can be avoided). I also like the Twist's shorter length.

Now if the Gripper body had the guts/functionality of a Tox, that'd be real nice!

Oh and depending upon the answers to these questions, I might want a silver one!

IDK GPS done gone'n broke
i might do something for the people who mention they want one here in this thread. but i wont put them on the site, we have to run a business here which is not easy and we wont do desperate acts just to make a ale.
That would be cool...... got the search down to it being a KDS VV350 (lavatube...even the same company??) seem to run 20-25 per unit in lot quantities...too bad I don't need a min of 10 lol, still have not seen elsewhere at those cut one's own throat prices, though my ecig vendor list is on the short side, maybe the idea is to make coin on additional batteries, cartos, tanks, juice etc... ya know 'wow this is cheap wonder what else they have while am here" deals... Would be nice to know what GV thinks of em, having tested them for a while now.... one bit I saw the threadsare not the greatest locked up on a reviewer and the plastic bit came off the end cap getting it off (one word noalox) What are is the regulator type...the old style or the new pulse type to extend battery life?? Well if they are not available here by hook or crook ...may just have to break down and send in my original Buzz for a pcb/switch replacement....let meknow pricing on a black one if you decide to sell some to those of us interested....thanks again

bad I'm sure your info is better than mine, but from what I've heard the people that are selling these for close to nothing have a crappier early release that can only handle 1-2 amps at best,

while the "good ones" can handle at least 2.5 amps, and will fire DCC 2.0 ohm at 5 volts no problem.

The latter I haven't seen for less than 60ish for a kit.

Durn, I wish these weren't using stacked batteries... It really is cute. :) And from what I read it's really light, too. Oh, well. I'll save the cash for the square pen and the Ovale-ish sweetie. Good times ahead.

Have you considered the Twist? I have both this one (whatever it's called?) and a Twist. The Twist is lighter (weighs about the same as this unit with only one battery, so the weight difference is the weight of the second 18350), 1/2" shorter (the 650mah version) and only about half the diameter (so MUCH thinner). I like having a display, and the up/down buttons are cool for easy changes, but the Twist is a really nice pv. And vv for the price of a Twist is AWESOME!

Got two Twists at this point - and you are right they *are* awesome! Love them. Just absolutely love them.

that square pen is mighty attractive

I wonder if it can hold its voltage under load though. Is there an amp limit?

Gotvapes is getting Version 2 which does not limit the voltage (5v is 5v) whereas Version 1 drops voltage. I do wonder if it can run LR at high voltage. What exactly are it's limits? I'm sure we'll find out SOON!
