I went skiing this past weekend at Whiteface in Lake Placid. One thing that has me sold on vaping is not going outside and freezing my ... off for a nicotine fix. An old friend had been cross country skiing near by so he met us at the lodge. So I'm stealth vaping in the corner but after a few hours and as many beers, I guess I was blowing some more obvious clouds of vapor. Nobody complained or even seemed to notice. The crowd had really thinned out as it was getting late then this woman, who seemed to be in a position of authority, yelled at me from across the room. "Hey! Is that electronic?". "Yes it is" I replied and she gave me a big thumbs up.
I really gave some thought to where to sit so I was out of the way and not obnoxious. Aside from a few vapor friendly bars near home, it was my first public vaping experience. I did try to keep it low key and I think the strategy payed off.
