Hi and welcome!

Congratulations on how far you have come.

Tips? Do something different than you usually do on the weekends. A lot of smoking is habitual in a specific context: coffee in the morning; getting in the car; going out to a bar on the weekends, etc. You need to examine the habit you are addicted to as much as the nicotine & alkaloids.

I also agree with having the right set up and juice, myself I have been vaping for about 17 months now and very recently stress being my weak point has let me down so yes I faltered and have smoked. I'm hoping now that I have the right setup with the MVP2 I just purchased. Personally speaking I would not keep away from alchol keep your gear with you at all times try not to let your stress levels, lol, or willpower drop too low, vape as much as you need to, get yourself a hobby or keep yourself busy to take your mind of smoking, if necessary drink at home only see how you go.

Just remember when you think you need an analog, vaping is accomplishing the same thing, with the same motions, but a much better way. A hit off an analog isn't going to offer you anything a vape can't, without all the nasty things that accompany smoking. If it can, and you are missing something an analog can offer, you may need to adjust your setup.

If you have a smoke or two, hey it's better than what you used to do. I've had a smoke when drinking, but in all honesty, I didn't like it as much as I thought I would. You may find the same thing. It very may have been those few smokes I had that finally convinced me that vapeing was better than smoking, even in the enjoyment factor. Don't over think this, if you want to quit, you will, IMHO, you have found the best alternative to smoking ever conceived. And as it was said in a earlier post, vape your face off if you need to at this point.

I got my my first vaporizer monday (besides a few cheap disposables). I'm a 35+ year smoker, I still have one cig with my morning coffee, but it seems so easy to control the urge with a few hits of vape the rest of the day.

I had quite a few beers Wednesday night and I usually smoke like a chimney when I drink, but I think I had one smoke all night.

Just the difference you feel in the morning going from smoking a pack a day down to a few a day is amazing.

Over Christmas I'll be visiting with a younger brother who still smokes but has agreed to let me introduce him to vaping. My pitch is, it's not about "quitting", it's about control. I found if I vaped and make no other effort my cigs declined to 4 per day from 25-30. I call that 80% control. I like the idea of 100% control so I accept 80% for a while while I upgrade devices, get used to the liquids and nic levels and start to change habits. (Learning to vape takes time. The better you get the better it works.) Then one day you let your cigarettes run out and see if you feel the need to buy more. I followed that stratagy for six weeks, ran out of cigs and it's been 16 days since I smoked a cig. I'm not quitting, I'm losing interest. 80% control is good. 100% control is much better. If I fall off the wagon I've still got the comfortable 80% cushion to fall back on and try again. A week ago if there was a cig in the house I would have smoked it. Today probably not.
