ok, since there is a good chance i'm overlooking something here is my problem:

remember how messages used to be grouped by day with a group checkbox and individual ones? and how on the bottom there was a big box with options like delete, move, etc?

now it looks to me as if i have to open each message to be able to delete it. alex please tell me this can't be so!!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure if this has been fixed already since when you posted this, or if there is something specific going on with your Inbox. Anyways, it is showing up correctly on my end exactly as you say. To the far right of each message there is checkbox, then at the bottom it will say "Selected Message", click on that, then you will have several different management options.

bless you, not sure if i overlooked this before or if it was fixed just recently, but i can get to it now.
very possible i did not see it since the different options, move, delete, etc showed up in the old forum without clicking on 'selected messages'
thanks again

Does anyone know if the "selected messages" is the way it will stay? I'm so confused as to various things I'm seeing are still going to be ECF tweaked or if they are here to stay.

For example, when you answer a PM they were auto quoted before. Now you have to click on "reply to PM" in order for the original message to be quoted. As a result, PMs often arrive without the previous discussion and boy, that can lead to confusion in a hurry if you PM a lot.
