I'm starting to get annoyed with these things.

I've got one atty from TW that works amazingly well. It creates a ton of vapor and has a perfect draw, flavor, etc. Plumes of vapor.

The second atty from TW worked like crap. Very little vapor, crackled and popped a lot. Sent it in for a replacement and got another one. It does the same thing!

Now I've got some regular Joye 510 attys as well. Tried one of them out, same thing! Lousy vapor, crackles a lot, but very little flavor and vapor.

I've got 7 more of the Joye attys, but I'm already getting dizzy from all of the nic I'm been inhaling trying to get these things to work properly.

Now, did I just luck out and get a freak of an atomizer (the one that creates tons of vapor) or did I just get unlucky and get a bunch of attys that are defective?

TW said I could send in the replacement atty again and they'd test it out and send me a replacement, which I'm gonna do.. but considering the fact that the other Joye attys I have are performing the same, I'm wondering if maybe that one that works really, really well is just a fluke.

I'm using the same battery, same juice. Tornado & TV Banana Fosters.

You may be flooding the atty with 2 much juice. If the "crackle" sound is coming from the juice as you draw then it is flooded.

Get a multi-meter and test the resistance of the attys. Use the one that works for you as your base number. If the other atties are the same brand (there are some crappy knockoffs out there) and have the same resistance, then the problem is with you and too much juice.

The multi-meter would be well worth the price to save you the grief.

this is gonna sound crazy, but the only 510 atties i use are the ones i get from cignot , they seem to work great and all the same( KNOCK ON WOOD) others i have gotten from other places all seem different. Maybe it is all in my head but for now im sticking with cignot as my supplier for hardware till I order my cam from ikenvap

I don't think I'm flooding them because I'm only dropping 2 drops in at a time in each one.

I've got a multimeter though, so I'll measure them and compare, see if that can shine a bit of light onto why this is happening. Thanks for the suggestion.

Same problem as mine. 2 drops and they are flooded. Snapped, cackle and popped. Both are from TW as well. I really wonder about the QC of 510 attys.

I had the same problem with the TW 510 atty's and they admitted that they have been having more returns on these lately. Eve the Mega atty's are doing it too. They work for a couple of days then the production goes down fast.
I had one die the 1st day I used it. The second one took a week to slowly die and now I will use it for dripping only. Won't work with the carts.
The replacement one I got is a workhorse.. Nothing bad about it.
I got a 5 pk from TW for their B'day sale and so far they all work very well.

That is the way you flood them...

You start with a flooded atty you think is dry or maybe flooded, so you ONLY add 2 drops. Still works like crap, so you think you must have used up the 2 drops, so you add ONLY 2 more. When in fact you had only burnt of 1/2 of 1 of the 2 drops you added to the flooded atty, and then added ONLY 2 more, for now a total of 3.5 too many drops ;) and the cycle goes on...

Really really easy to fall into.
