I hope someone can confirm my thoughts and calculations for me
I have some 12 mg. liquid that I really like the flavor of but I'm just not getting that satisfied feeling from it. Unfortunately, I was very new (still am, ha!) to vaping and bought 180 ml of it before I realized the problem is likely not enough nicotine. Sooooo, I've been doing some research to see if I can just add more nicotine liquid to it myself to boost it up notch. Here's what I came up with to figure out how much to add. I just need confirmation that I'm right and not about to poison myself, lol.
Currently have/example... 30 ml of 12 mg. juice.......30 ml x 12 mg nic = 360 mg nic total in bottle
Want to have .................30 ml of 18 mg. juice.......30 ml x 18 mg nic = 540 mg nic total in bottle
So, I need to add 180 mg. nic total to a 30 ml bottle. I can buy 100 mg/ml no flavor nic liquid for mixing locally. By my calculations I would want to add 1.8 ml of this 100 mg/ml nic to a 30 ml bottle of 12 mg juice and would end up with 18 mg.
All this is making my head spin
By my calculations, I would be adding 6% (by volume) liquid to what I have. Would this be enough to really cut the flavor or not? Its a pretty menthol(y) menthol. I don't want to ruin the flavor of what I have but I think I just got too zealous and thinking I could quit smoking AND cut my nicotine at the same time.
Thanks for taking the time to help me
