Just a quick story about my Provari. I went to Legoland Florida with my kids and went on a roller coaster "Flight School". Its a suspended roller coaster (legs hang free), and although it is suitable for kids, it is not a kiddie ride -- it moves pretty good!

Anyway, we were on it for the third time and going around a particularly sharp turn about 30 feet in the air, when I saw something flying away out of the corner of my eye - and heard a sharp "BANG" against a metal fence enclosing the area. When I got off the coaster I realized it was my Provari (with liquinator tank attached).

With 3 days left in my vacation in Florida (and no backup PV), I was considering my options (gas station cheapos, snus, etc.) as I didnt think there was any way I would find it, much less that it would survive. I had seen the general area where it should be, and went over. Lo and behold, it was laying on the grass just inside the fence (sans tank an carto which were a few feet away).

The threads on the carto had come off, but the Provari was fine! I'd say it slammed into the steel fence after travelling 30 feet at a speed of 20-30 mph at least!

That's why I don't have a backup!

Wow, as a provari owner, your story is reassuring. I would've been heartbroken if it was me, I mean I know the thing is a tank, but I don't think they design it with mishaps of that severity in mind! Glad to hear it's ok, especially since you don't have a backup. Was it visibly damaged at all or does it still look new?

Well I carry it in my pocket so it has alot of light scratches on it, but I did not see any damage caused by the incident (dents or noticable scratches)

Also, I have tons of backups but I didnt bring them on vacation with me. I will post to Provari thread tho.
