The walls are gonna be fine. The alarm-- anyone's guess. I set off a fire alarm with ONE tiny MTL puff when I was adjusting the thermostat once. I should mention, this is an alarm that did not go off during our ACTUAL very smoky HOUSE fire, along with 30 others (so it seemed) that our FHA inspector wanted installed. The only one that went off and saved the husband from burning it down entirely.... Well, it was the original alarm.
I have no clue. I wouldn't worry too much. Window film is just a thing because it tends to collect condensation. The interior walls are not as COLD, because they're insulated and like, not cold on the outside and hot on the inside. The stuff comes off better with Dawn than with Windex if you must scrub the window. Your walls are gonna be Just Fine. Really.
In college, me and my roommate (we had a smoking room) and were known as "the smoking room" (there was probably someone in there almost 24-7 smoking. I mean, my roommate reported me waking up at least once and sometimes twice a night to smoke (I don't remember but I believe her) and the paint had darkened at least 4 shades in 2 semesters.
It was extremely fun. When we peeled down the posters we were just like, "Eh, it's a smoking room. So we smoked. Everyone smoked, A lot." Probably the use of MJ which is good for your lungs when smoked was what was keeping me alive. Etc.
Stop worrying.

tryin to be moral here! man trusrted me with the place. i think that s a more importnt reason for them to rent it even, more than profit. his family's place and he lives with wife in another city. just want someone around.
plus it s in my rent agreement, the laundry and analogs. so he could argue that would include vaping. wanted to make sure it shouldnt include it...
