Hokay... About to get the Mutank (RTA + coils) and I just want to make sure my stubborn way of building coils will work.

I use a cheat-stick for 99% of my coiling, I use the largest one and I believe it is 3mm. I want to use 24ga kanthal with 5/6 wraps and it usually reads at .3 Ohms. Will this tank be able to handle that build? I also often wrap 26ga the same 5/6 wraps and that comes out at .5 Ohms, but I'm looking for a RDA type experience in a tank.

I got it in my cart. Just waiting for the word :) Many thanks!

I don't have a Mutank-- I have the MT-- but yes, it will build down to .3 with ease. My MT is running dual parallel 28s for .32. It's atop an SX Mini and I can max the watts without any trouble. Plenty of folks-- the crazy ones; no, that's not fair, we're all crazy here, I mean the really crazy ones-- build a good bit lower than that.

Hey @MMW ! Yeah I mean, I wrap my own, but I sometimes just like being able to pop in a new coil Saturday morning and not have to worry about maintaining it for the week, and babying it all the time. I've grown to just tolerate that "new coil" taste haha. Ordering now from Element Vape :D Thanks @suprtrkr, and @kushpancake ! I appreciate the input

EDIT: Order placed!!! $35 and I was good, and didn't buy any additional coils :)

That new Ohmega Alpha RTA should be at the house when I get out of "work". I'm posting it here because, by the looks of it, a lot of you may dig it. MTish kinda.
Cool. One can never have too much-- or even enough-- vape gear. Let me know how you like it. I may have to have one too.

I have to be honest here, I am not totally digging this clapton build I'm currently running.....

I have to run at 55+ watts due to ramp up and I am a 45 Watt guy.....Going back to 24 AWG single Coils
Ramp has always been one of the problems with massive builds. Try TC maybe? With a TC wire core and Kanthal or NiCr wraps? If you unwind the wrap and only pin the core, you can "fool" the machine into thinking it has a TC coil. Then you can use any watts you like for ramp and still set the temp.

Wherever you're digging it! That's what matters.
@suprtrkr, I'm thinking about dual parallel SS 26 or 28g depending on the the deck size. There is a thread for it in the RTA forum.
I ordered some 26 and 28 SS wire. Should be here this week.

My game is tomorrow, but I'm sure I'll watch playoff games, too. And my team (Ohio State) is playing my dad's team (Notre Dame). He is beyond ...... because he hates OSU. He already blamed me that they're playing each other as if I'm on the selection committee

I have a dual 26g SS build in one of my Bellus, and I like it a lot.

New year new build?

That's what I should do... The most adventurous build I have done was twisted 28ga kanthal. Never even tasted Clapton coils on an RDA :( I have a couple strands of clapton wire that Deisel by CG generously put in my last order with them, and they have been sitting in the bag ever since :( I'm afraid to wrap them as I don't want to mess up :x

Wrap them up and have a smack at it. The wire isn't all that expensive even if you do, and it can be made if you have a drill motor (although making it is a PITA.)
