Cool, I got the upgrade for free.....maybe I won't have to wait 4 weeks :0)
Did the item you ordered say in stock? That's where they get alot of people, some stuff is in stock, some says next day,5 days,7 days, etc.,I've found if it says in stock or next day,it usually shows up pretty quick through airmail, but i ordered something one time that said it shipped in 7 days, after 7 days it said another 5 days and so on,it took that one a month to ship out haha.

Guess I'll revisit fastech again. All the horror stories were enough to scare me off.

Just make sure whatever you order says in stock or ships next day,and if you don't get the free upgraded shipping, then pay the extra buck or two to get airmail with a tracking number. If you just use the standard free shipping, that's the one that can take an extremely long time,as it comes by boat.

Gotcha, thanks! I don't know what, if anything I need, but I might just get some stock and see how it goes. I haven't been to their site in well over a year.

Most everything said in stock. I believe just one item did not and it said ships to in 3 days

Cotton Bacon.....10 strips cut in half for 20 pieces, 10 wicks per piece for 200 wicks for 5 bucks, had reward points and a coupon code for 20% off, bought four for 13 bucks and change. 200 x 4 = 800 wicks / 5 - 6 wicks a week = about 3 1/2 years of cotton lol

I've never tried rayon. Is that like Sally beauty supply stuff?
From what I have seen... Yes. Some of it though is just a chemically treated cotton under the same name of Cellucotton(sp?)

Seeing PBusardo's video though, it seems to behave, and taste the same as Ko Gen Do cotton. I'm only referencing his video though, never had the bravery to try it myself.

Jebus, ya'll are a chatty group. Just took me 4 hours to catch up on this thread after being away since dec 22nd.

Since I've been gone I see they dropped the Mutank in black, nice (I've been waiting for the black version), I'll be ordering that tonight, and the v-deck came out as well, I probably won't order that right away as I think the normal deck is just fine for my builds. Since I've only seen the black Mutank from vapordna, I think I may order a Serpent while I'm at it, I've wanted one for weeks, just haven't gotten around to ordering one.

@MMW also got me interested in the Ohmega Alpha, but I don't have a box mod large enough for a 30mm atty, because I can't have atty overhang, it would drive me nuts.

AFAIK, the only difference is the digital screen on the D4 vs the LED indicators on the I4. I bought the D4 because it charges faster than my Xtar VC4, 750mAh vs 500mAh (with 2 batteries; if you put in a third, all slots drop to 375 mAh). I actually like the screen better on the Xtar, but I don't like the fact it's fed with DC low voltage and needs a wall wart to function. The D4 plugs directly into the wall socket and has stepdown and conversion on board. I think the Xtar is a slightly better charger-- not that I have ever had any problems with the Nitecore part-- and gives better battery data, if you can tolerate the slower charge rate. If I had to buy another one, I'd buy a another D4. I would like to have a Luc V6, but I won't buy from Efest after what they did to @Mooch
BTW, The VC4 charges two batteries at 1A, not sure why you're under the impression that it only does .5A, so you actually bought the D4 so you could charge batteries slower than your VC4.

edit,
Oh, and @Bman123 Cotton Bacon is not supima cotton btw. It's a similar type story though, just expensive designer cotton in a bag for $6, but its definitely not supima. The little bag I got back in September has one full strip left in it, so its not terrible, but its definitely not as cheap as the 200 sheets of JOC for $8 I got from Amazon, or the lifetime supply of Rayon I got for $15.

Yes, it's the Sally's stuff. I think it wicks better, resists burning better, and tastes better than cotton. (That last part after break in; there's a taste to it for the first 1/2ml of juice or so.) I also find it easier to thread through small diameter coils as it is extruded and the fibers run the entire length of the rope, not chopped up like cotton. It is actually possible to take it out of the coil, wash it, and reuse it because it won't stain or gunk up like cotton, not that I know anybody who goes to the effort, the stuff being so cheap. You can argue the Ko-Gen-Do pads are easier to use: cut a strip off the right size and it's perfect. But rayon isn't a lot harder. Cut a piece of rope the right length, rip it in half the long way and twist the end; off to the races. There are a few people around who have gone back to cotton after giving rayon a fair trial. There are not a lot of them.

Mine doesn't, what can I say. It backs off charge by input voltage, and it does that a lot, even using the official Xtar wall wart and/or one of the plug faceplates with honest 2A usb ports. It was not uncommon for me to see it charging two batteries-- outside slots, just as specified-- and the charge meter down to 200mAh with the batteries half charged. And welcome back.

I wasn't talking about cotton bacon, I was talking about native wicks. I'm sure it's the same thing with cotton bacon, its just some marked up thru the roof type of cotton

Whenever mine drops down to 200mAh I just reboot it, and I'm back at 1A. Mine will drop down to 200mAh randomly, and rebooting it takes care of it for me. For me, it usually does it right away, not half way through a charge cycle, so I just put the batteries on, watch it for a few seconds, and if it drops down, I'll reboot it.

I must have misunderstood your post, I knew you were talking about native wicks, but the way I read it, it made it sound like you were saying cotton bacon is probably just supima cotton marked up and overpriced like native wicks. We're on the same page though, cotton bacon is just marked up organic cotton in a fancy small bag.

Yeah, Dan, that worked for me, too. But it was too annoying to be borne, so I bought a Nitecore that reliably charges at 750 mAh until the battery gets to 4.15v or so.

In other news, the SS wire arrived. I got 26 and 28ga, that being all they had in stock. As soon as I get my Roundtuit all polished up I shall build something and tell you guys what I think. I broke out Mr. Snow Wolf yesterday, being in the mood to get cloudy, and was thinking the Fishbone on it wants a rebuild. Soon as I vape these batteries down, I'll probably break it up and give the SS a try. And regarding chargers, I ordered an I4 yesterday, to go along with the vasty plethora of batteries I ordered to feed the hungry maw of the RX200. A side-by-side D4-I4 comparison should be available soon. I wish I had bought that Blu6 Efest before they got all shirty with Mooch, but I didn't, and there's an end on't. :)
