I sent vapenw a YouTube link of what my mod was doing and right away they told me they would rma it. I bought this 2 months ago and they are gonna replace it. Great customer service from these guys

Cool, glad they decided to help out at least. Think I'll try to mod ours to another 510 at some point too...if I can find my tap and die set

Yeah, you may also want to update all the wiring while you're at it. Its awfully thin.

Has there been a consensus on what the biggest that will fit in the rx if wiring is done too? I may have missed that during the move if there was.

I haven't investigated, but it kind of concerned me when I looked at it. So at some point I will probably redo the whole thing when I replace the 510s.

Hahaha well between the duplicates I've got plenty of backups. I double fist my mods but my girl only does one at a time...seems like a waste not having em in rotation to me. But I guess they'll have a longer life....
Same I have those 3 with me every where lol. Skittles in the mutank, sweet tarts/smarties in the g v2 and what ever flavor I'm working on/ in the mood for for the dripper. Last week was watermelon. Still not satisfied with that mixture but needed a break so this week is the osdiy blue slushi. For the last cple of days it been more of a blue ras blowpop flavor then slushi at 15% blue ras and 1% cotton candy. Not what I was after but brings back memories so I'll probably make another batch the same way.
Lmao, I think my girlfriend and boss would both be like wtf if I carried 8 mods around. I used to tote a 4th around (used to bring a 26650 mech with me too) until the batteries started to go and decided not to buy more batteries for it.

Generally where I run mine if im in the .2 to .3 range unless I'm gunning for a bigger cloud then I'll bump up.
I noticed some discolored liquid by the ports in the Advken Ωega today and, looking back to when I bought it, I see it's been wearing the same coils and wicks well over a month and has probably vaped over 200ml of juice. So I decided to break it down and maybe rebuild but definitely rewick. When I opened it up I saw the nappiest-- I mean the nappiest-- set of coils and wicks I have ever seen. The rayon was actually black in color--rayon!-- and had burnt completely in two in the coils; maybe vaporized in there over time. The coil tails were up against the coil ends, but the middle was pretty empty. The coils had caked on gunk so thick you could see the cakes take a round shape where they had filled in all the way out to the barrel. Literally, 3/16ths of an inch thick, all the way around. She was, by the way, still vaping like a champ, happily blowing cloud and no off taste.
But the reason I posted this is because I am astonished how clean the wires burnt off. Literally, they look like new wires, just a bit discolored from the heat as you'd see after test firing a new set of coils. She's build parallel 28s at .11Ω, and I can't see any reason to change them. The wires are 316. And they burn a lot cleaner than Kanthal.
