I am not cat people-- I have never been able to understand why a sane person would install and maintain a facility designed to encourage a small animal to defecate in one's home-- but I have to say puking on one of them does seem a bit out of line.

For DIY I kinda broke my rule for research, I did very little! Just found a calculator I liked (don't remember name it's at home oops!) followed a couple of threads and kinda went for it! Once you have a calculator it's easy peeezy! Find some recepies you like (there are literally a million of them) buy the flavors, pg/vg,& nic. Plug the#'s in for the amount and nic level and rock & Roll. This is the kit I bought but there are many others!

I do have a simple one on my phone called vape calc..But the one at home has a bunch of preloaded stuff and will even calculate the cost of each batch of juice and let you know when you should order more shtuff! All you do is enter the info and it figures it out!

It's easy to use and is really simple. Just plug each # in and it tells you how much. I use it on the browser on my nexus 6 because its quick. I don't use the ones that tell you the total cost, I know my cost is dirt cheap already lol

I prefer a hands-free calculator when mixing. If you use factors of 10 or 100 (ml) in your target quantities and 100 mg/ml nic, figuring percentages in your head is a cinch. You're just shifting decimal places.

Diy is so hit or miss for me. I see recipes that people rave about online and I try them and don't really care for them 9 times out of 10.
Everyone's taste is different and I think I'm on the odd side of the spectrum lol. Moat of the time I really have to alter the recipes in order to like them.

I've had that same problem,especially when i first started.I went through alot of recipes that sounded great,but to me tasted horrible haha.Now,i have a pretty good general idea if i will like something based on the flavors it has in it,so i pass up alot of the recipes that people rave about because i know there is something in it i won't like.I have been lucky and found several that have became adv's for me though,so i figure the journey of trying a bunch of stuff has paid off for me.
I use the recipes for reference and wing it! gotten pretty lucky because I know what i like! Peach/Mango Gramcracker cheese cake is my best so far! My friends like it but they wanted me to cut back on the fruit a little! So instead I'm gonna up the gramcracker cheese cake! Cuz I like lotsa flavor.
I used to.Alot of the recipes that i used to use as adv's were 20-30% flavor and they were great,but the last few months,my taste buds took a huge turn,and trying to vape those same juices now,they seem so strong i can't stand it.Now i have to stay around 10-12% or less to be able to enjoy it,to much and it just isn't a pleasant taste anymore.
