Hey, guess what? I fixed my horrible juice, woot! Its pretty good now :)
It's always good to be able to save a mix, when mine are bad, they are BAD haha, and i would just waste more trying to fix them because they are already at the point of no hope haha.

If mine is bad I just dump it out. I look at it like I messed up somewhere and would rather start over. If I fix it then I have no clue where I messed up.

If you don't mind me asking what did you mess up on roxy?

Well, it was a recipe I found here for Caramel Pear. The pear was overwelming and tasted bad, and not that pear like. The recipe was low on flavoring so I had room for changes. I added a much higher percentage of caramel and some sweet cream. Now the pear tastes nice. I figured out mathematically how to change my 30ml batch to a 50ml batch so I would be able to replicate the recipe if it was good. I made a list of what I started with in the 30ml batch, what it needed for 50ml of the new recipe, and then figured out how much of everything I had to add.

I'm gonna try a Cran/Blueberry cream tonight! Wish me luck!

I've got some stuff I need to dive into this weekend.
Need to make
Apple, watermelon, peach and grape jolly ranchers, peach gummy rings and pink starburst. I just got all the stuff to make it in the mail 2 days ago but haven't even tried yet.

I've been a bit lazy since I came up with strawberry milk and blue raz slushy

I'm with you WestPole...I have not made a "bad" DIY NET. Sometimes I have over flavored my NET base by putting too much caramel or some with menthol, or maple, but that is easily fixed. I keep them very simple and usually just let the NET base carry the show. If I use a good quality tobacco to start the process, it is successful every time. But as you say...it takes some time to process it initially. Right now, I have about 700 ml of different NET juices I have cooked up and that would last me for a year or so. But I will do some more just to try a different cigar or tobacco mix out of curiosity.

I wish i could say that, but i have made a few that were horrible haha. The problem with mine have been while experimenting with tobacco's that i'm not familiar with though.I've done several cigars that i had smoked previously that came out nice,as well as some Captain Black, which has been my favorite so far,but i tried a flavored cigar that is coffee and something else, and it is the foulest thing i've ever tasted haha.I haven't done any experimenting with adding other flavors to my nets yet,but definitely looking forward to trying that.I plan to try some Capt. Black with cherry and vanilla here soon.

Hermano! :thumb:

My first batch was from the remainder of a pack of my old brand (American Spirit non-filter) I bought one day I went to work with an empty squonk bottle. That extract was rushed with 100% PG and heat, and it still tasted good. Who'd a thunk it?

Like you, I've got about a liter's worth of a half dozen varietals brewing ATM. Definitely good for a year of blending and vaping. And you don't have to worry about the flavors weakening. They'll just get better, as far as I know.

I have a friend that needs to quit smoking, if I could make a Marlboro light juice I know he would quit

You may want to try something like the American spirit organic tobacco, and mix it at a low % to simulate a light.Nets are very easy to make, and it could be done with Marlboro lights, but doing it with that would most likely pull alot of the chemicals they use in those too.

I have never tried NETs, and I'm not really interested. (I also don't know how to make them, so I can't help there.) However, I question the ability to make it taste like a cigarette because you won't have the combustion products. You can make it taste like they smell, but not like they taste, I don't think.

That's pretty much spot on.They will taste remotely similar, but like you said,it's not being burnt,so it won't be exactly the same.Although,to make it is very simple, the easiest is to put some tobacco in a jar and cover it with pg,and let it sit a few weeks, others use heat to speed the process, then when it's done, just strain the final product to get the solids out,and use just like any other diy flavor.

It seems simple enough I'll have to give it a try. Is there a certain ratio for that? Like how much pg to how much tobacco

I have tried the island tobacco flavoring from nude Nicotine. They sent it as a sample once and I tried it and it tasted really good. I smoked newports and kools for 14 years and they smoke Marlboro lights so I doubt our taste would be similar in what we like in a tobacco.

We have a local shop that sells a ton of tobacco flavored e juice. I'll pop in there tomorrow and buy a $5 10ml bottle. I hate buying store juice

Is this man and woman commited to quitting smoking?? If it's only you who is commited to it, its not gonna work. I appreciate you want to help them quit, your a good friend to them, but remember what they say about leading a horse to water, you can't make it drink. I'm not discouraging you, just don't be too hard on yourself if it's more important to you than it is to them. If they are trying to quit, then that's great... I hope you don't take this the wrong way... We were almost all smokers here, we know how it is...
