Riddle me this, MT gurus...Still trying to NOT put this tank in the "nice idea but not working out" bin. I was having wicking troubles that were mostly related to not having the coil centered I believe. Now the coil is centered and I wick it like the pics on page 41. It doesn't leak or seep. Fills fine. The first tankful is bliss....Awesome flavor, performance, and wicking. Bubbles on every draw and random bubbles when sitting. Soon after the 1st refill it is a complete vacuum lock situation. I cannot get any wicking whatsoever. No bubbles even when mostly closing the airflow and drawing hard. The only way I can get any wicking is to open the top cap which will cause a few bubbles and I can take a couple of hits. I even let it set overnight last night with the tank full and to cap completely off and AFC open. No leaks this morning. I have tried more cotton, less cotton, same thing.

Any ideas...About ready for it to hit its grave!

My guess is overfilling. I've had that happen if I don't leave a big enough air space. Not on this tank, but others.

If the first tankful ran perfect, it is the only variable that is different.

Yeah, coils can gunk, but then your juice just tastes off.

I ordered a MUtank from Vaperoyalty for $36 shipped today. I'm only going to use it as an RTA. Also I finally found an official picture of the Velocity style Rba deck they'll be selling for it!

Hey, RX200 types! I just caught this post in another forum: Damn reuleaux rx200

Apparently he dropped it and it quit working. Be careful out there.
Rut roe shaggy! Don't think I've ever owned a mod I haven't dropped/knocked over in 5 years of vaping glad I haven't let u guys persuade me to pull the trigger on that

The split 3 post design works great :vapor:
I prefer the split post over the velocity deck, I hate grub screws and there's already enough room for huge coils

I'm gonna get a mutank probably tomorrow, so I'll be able to use the pre made coils when I go on vacation this year and not have to worry about anything other then filling it

If anyone is interested in a black MX rta send me a pm

:rickroll:Wooot! Got to work an hour ago and had nice vape mailz! 60' each of 28g and 26g SS, another Bellus, and two suite drip tips!
I just looked it up on the steam engine calculator. Supposedly with 316L SS parallel coil on a 3mm bit it takes 5 full wraps to get a resistance of .1 ohms.

What SS wire did you buy?

316l. That sounds easy enough. Was that 26g?
Yeah it was, sorry I forgot to add that in the post.

I haven't done a 26 gauge parallel coil in over a year. I use to run that every day when I ran a mechanical mod. The build is amazing in a rda, I remember really dense vapor, great flavor and huge clouds. It pulls a lot of watts on a mechanical mod and I'd like to putt a lot of watts to it on a box mod now and see how I like it.

Where did you order it from? I'd like to try some out before I commit to ordering a big spool of it

yeah, that's the part that worries me about it in wattage mode. How in earth am I supposed to cram enough wraps into it to get a reasonable resistance?
