last night I used thick strips and choked the coil.
Today I used thinner strips but trimmed the tails too short.
That hammer comment reminded me

My MT got a big brother, VCMT.
I think some of you would like this VCMT 25mm, its a bit steep for a China atty (honestly its way over priced), but its got airflow for days, a v-style deck, and a descent amount of room for builds.

It's pretty good so far, haven't really tried many builds in it, would possibly be better with some claptons, or fused claptons. Basic dual 22g, needs about 80-90W to start to get down with that build, but man, its a lot of vapor with the airflow on it. And yeah, the price is too high on it.
How much is it? I don't think I've ever seen it

It's not really very similar to the MT, but yeah, I get what you're saying. The 30mm version would probably be good for your 26650 box mod, but again, its overpriced.
I don't buy much Vape gear because I just can't justify buying a bunch of stuff when I can only use one at a time. I've only got my sigelei 150 watt non tc, my black troll rda and my MX rta. If anything I need to get another box mod to run my rda on and get at least 4 new 18650 batteries because the ones I've got now are starting to lose a charge quicker then normal.

Nice, I really need to order batteries but my local store charges $13 per battery. I can get 2 off amazon with prime shipping for that much

I've got a D4 charger too, and it is my go-to machine. I also have an Xtar VC4, but the D4 charges faster. I use the VC4 when I want better battery data or for 26650s.
UM.......I EFFIN LOVE IT!
The TC is way more accurate than my IPV4s! it actually reads real-time temp of the coil & displays it! Fits in the hand great! Weight is noticeable but but no big deal (have to wait 'til tues to see if I can carry in shirt pocket). The only thing that's not optimum is the actual # size on the display.But it's not a deal breaker & it's definitely not worth spending the extra $100. for!
