What happened there? Thought you liked the pheno?
I did really like the pheno but I never used it. It literally sat on the shelf so I figured why not sell it and get a new rta that I'll actually use

Sometimes I wish I was the only one...my vape budget would be bigger :w00t:. Instead mine goes to buying duplicates of everything so I dont have to share. Inthe last year I've only bought 2 items as singles. The velocity i had to order a second cause she liked mine and I wasnt giving it up. The mutation v4 stayed a single cause neither of us ever really found a build we liked on it.

I DON'T KNOW HOW I'M GONNA 'SPLAIN DIS ONE! SHE'LL TELL ME I'M OUTTA CONTROL & I'LL SMILE SHEEPISHLY & SAY YEP!
:lol:. Thats why mine placed me on a 6 month no vape budget :grr:. Still want a 30mm vcmt or equivalent one day though but have a feeling I'm gonna have to sneak that one through my office and toss the box lol. Though the gemini looks interesting too.

Wicking this is so much different then the mutank. I've got 7 wrap on 3mm bit 24g core 28g outer SS316L Claptons in it.
I tried 8 wrap at first and it just wouldn't fit. Let's be honest tho 7 wraps is more then enough, I just wanted to see the max I could fit in there.

After owning the Mt rta it feels so weird not cramming a ton of cotton in a rta. I barely had to put any cotton in it at all.

At 80 watts it vapes great, at 90 watts I'm getting major spit back and it's some hot liquid.

I've chain Vaped half a tank at 80 watts with no dry hits what so ever, the tank is extremely hot tho. I do like the tank, the delrin drip tip is very nice and it's wider bore then the mutank which I also like.

All in all I'd say it's much more user friendly then the mutank. Wicking is way easier, I just left the ring on and tucked the wick in behind it with out much trouble. The deck is big but it's not that much bigger then the mutank if any at all, I've ran the same setup in both tanks.

Jeez, folks! Now, I guess I just HAVE to get one, too. If it's easier to wick and has anywhere near the vapeability as the MT, I need it. My MT sits at home needing a refill, but I want to tear it apart yet again. I absolutely cannot get this wicking down. I finally have it to where it doesn't leak so bad, but now it can't keep up with over 50W. And when I refill it, I still get tons of leakage. My Mutank, I'm using the coil that came with it and while I did have some off-flavor at the beginning, it's all good now. I do have the RBA head built just waiting for this first coil to die, then I'll change it out. But, I'm game for the Griffin.

If your having trouble wicking the mutank get the Griffin, seriously man its so much easier to wick. I really like the tank, and with these huge coils 80 watts puts out a ton of vapor. Flavor is on point with the Mt rta for sure and way better then the tfv4 I was using

Actually, my TFV4 is doing super! Love that thing. I'm doing the dual Claptons in it now. But it this Griffin is that good without all the wicking hassles, I'm getting one.

Just ordered one. Look forward to getting it in hand and building it. If it's all that, I'll end up with another.
It's really good, I can't see anyone being disappointed with it. It's like a rta for dummies, its that simple

I guess that's for me then. If I can't even get my MT to wick up properly, this is what I need. My RDA's, I build with no problem, except for a couple of them that are incredibly hard to do. I've retired the hard ones, and the chronic leakers. I'm still not giving up on the MT. I'm going to give it another rebuild and see what I can do.
