What part of wicking it are you having issues with? What are you using for wick?
I'm using rayon. I've tried putting lots of wick, thinner wicks, tried the wick across the deck and then the coil wicks on top of that. I just can't get it to either stop leaking, or be able to wick the juice to where I don't get dry hits. Right now, it's wicked to the point I still get a trace amount of leakage, but I can't go over 50W and can't take hits too often. I also don't get the bubbles, except once in a blue moon. Any less wick, and the juice is all over the top of the mod. That's with the MT, but I know it'll be the same with the Mutank once I use the rba head in it.

Gotcha, still havent had a chance to get any rayon. I've been successful with both cotton bacons and shiseido cotton in mine. The shiseido does wick a little faster then the cb but definitely has to be boiled and dried before using. Havent had a chance to try the dental rolls in it yet which I do need to do at some point lol.

The shiseido other then boiling and an extra cut I think I like better then the cb. Cutting the pad in half has been the perfect amount per coil then trim to length and tuck into the channels.

Since I live in this thread I'll ask this here, sorry about going off topic......

My wife's favorite drip tip broke and she's not happy. The Pyrex tube came out of the SS base. Was just curious if it's safe to put a couple drops of super glue on it to fix it for her.....

Probably. Superglue is basically identical to what Molehill Mountain uses to coat their wood drip tips. You can also use it to seal a bad cut on yourself instead of getting stitches (ask me how I know).
I've used super glue like that a few times, needless to say it also left a few nasty scars too

It was my foot. Yeah, there's 2 scars, but unless I date someone with a foot fetish, I won't worry about it :D

I figured it would be, I was worried it would heat up and she would be inhaling super glue fumes......

I would think you'd be ok too. It's used in some of the most sensitive of habitats for securing beginning plants aka my other hobby, aquariums. I would let it cure for 24 hrs at least despite the pretty quick dry time super glue has though.

Being a chef, I know all about superglue. Gotta superglue the cut, get back to work, and go get stitches when service is finished!

OMG people! @suprtrkr you are a genius! This stuff called RAYON is absolutely amazing! I can run the same build (26/32 Clapton 6wraps 3mm ID .53 ohms) with rayon at up to 80w so far with no dry hits at all! Compare that with cotton at 60w max with cotton! No fancy wicking either! did the same thing with the rayon as I do with cotton except with more material! The most important thing I do is make sure the corners of the juice channels have no gaps with the chimney are full! The thing about rayon seems to be that it doesn't swell ( as previously stated by @suprtrkr) like cotton when saturated! Sorry about no pics, but I was so excited about trying the rayon I forgot! Time to get ready for work! Back later!

I just changed out the wicks on my MT from rayon to cotton, and now it seems I have my flavor back. Normally, I don't have a problem with rayon at all, in fact, love it, but for some reason it just wouldn't supply the juice enough on this tank. I'm using it in my bottom fed drippers and works great.

Oh, the cotton I changed out to is KGD.

I've come to like the shiseido it just needs to be boiled or it adds a flowery taste to the juice that I couldnt vape away. Cotton bacon I have gotten to work but cant chain vape that any higher then 50 on the builds I've put in so far. I think the next rebuild will be a set of tiger coils with the dental rolls though to see if they do as good in the tank as the dental rolls are as good as they were in the velocity.

Yep. To a T. I love Kgd and found if I let is saturate and sit I get very little break in cotton taste. I like the fact it expands too.

I might have to go back to it and give it another try. I could not get past the taste of it. On a side note in the mutank I am using 22ga-a1 for the first time and run all day at 80w with cotton bacon. I think I might like this 22g here.
I like 22g in my MT, have a .15ohm 22g build in one of my MTs right now.

Yah I noticed a little off taste for the first tank but after that it's been great! I can actually taste the peach & the apricot in my DIY! 3rd tank now & the flavor is almost a tie with the octo-claptons in my TFV4! Be real hard to beat those though! But pretty impressive considering the surface area difference in the builds!
