Yah I noticed a little off taste for the first tank but after that it's been great! I can actually taste the peach & the apricot in my DIY! 3rd tank now & the flavor is almost a tie with the octo-claptons in my TFV4! Be real hard to beat those though! But pretty impressive considering the surface area difference in the builds!

Hey, Bill, where did you get your octo coils? I might get one just to see how I like it. I really like my triple coils and right now using the dual Clapton coil. I can imagine that octo must really suck up the juice!

I'd forget someone's name and end up calling roxy, Bill or (told) lol. That's why I just quote everyone.
I have only tried rayon in a rda, I bet it would work for in a rta. Maybe someone local has some that I can try. I sure don't want to order a 500ft roll of it

Paul I got mine from SweetVapes! Mostly because they are an on-shore supplier! @Bman123 ordered some from Fastech Before me & at last check he still hadn't got his yet! I do know that he's got like 3 packs of 5 coming & doesn't have a TFV4 anymore so he was saying he would sell them! Anyway here's the link

I got about 9 or 10 days outta my first one so they seem to last a decent amount of time! My ADV with it was at 100w because that was perfect for me! Took it to 160w with no dry hits but it was drinking juice so fast & made so many bubbles that it almost put a head on my juice! LOL!

Those coils might get to me sooner or later. I do have 3 5 packs that are not spoken for and I'm pretty sure I have 3 of the regular quad coils at the house too

OMG people! @suprtrkr you are a genius! This stuff called RAYON is absolutely amazing! I can run the same build (26/32 Clapton 6wraps 3mm ID .53 ohms) with rayon at up to 80w so far with no dry hits at all! Compare that with cotton at 60w max with cotton! No fancy wicking either! did the same thing with the rayon as I do with cotton except with more material! The most important thing I do is make sure the corners of the juice channels have no gaps with the chimney are full! The thing about rayon seems to be that it doesn't swell ( as previously stated by @suprtrkr) like cotton when saturated! Sorry about no pics, but I was so excited about trying the rayon I forgot! Time to get ready for work! Back later!

Welcome to the club,now that you've tried Rayon,you will never want to go back to cotton again haha.Not only does it wick better,it also makes your juice taste better,and you can go quite a while longer in between rewicking.

I might have to go back to it and give it another try. I could not get past the taste of it. On a side note in the mutank I am using 22ga-a1 for the first time and run all day at 80w with cotton bacon. I think I might like this 22g here.

If your getting an off taste from Rayon,then you are probably putting it in too tight.I pull mine just tight enough to where it has decent tension in the coil without pulling the coil when sliding the wick side to side,and even from the first hit,all i taste is my juice.Now,i have made it just a bit too tight,and got an off taste for the first ml or so before it went away,but after i started pulling just a little bit less through,i get no taste of it at all.

It's like that with wire too. You buy kanthal 6ft sections for $5. It's absolutely crazy

If your in a pinch with no wire then yeah I could see paying $1 to wrap 2 coils till your wire comes in. Buying wire $1 per foot regularly is stupid. Makes me want to say hey everyone I'll sell you 100 ft spools for $20 and cause a riot in the Vape shop

Nah,the 500ft. would only be 1 lifetimes worth,i opted for the 2-3 lifetimes box,which is the 3 pound box haha.Way i see it,me and my son both vape,so when i'm gone,he will still have enough to last him,and then if his grandkids grow up and want to vape,there should still be enough for them too haha.

We're in the wrong business, guys. We need to raid Sally's, cut up that $14 box into 15' pieces and label a baggie and sell it at 10X the cost. Nice profit! Same thing with wire!

You poke fun but finding a place to put that box when you've got 2 people & a cat living in an 8 hundred sqft mobile home is easier said than done! I may pay more for small qtys but because of storage issues it's worth it! Heck I'm still trying figure out how to tell the wife why all the stuff under the sink in the 2nd bathroom has to go because I bought a liter of both PG & Vg that won't fit in the med. cabinet where I have my flavors for my DIY!

We're just commenting in amazement at how much these places mark stuff up. And I hear you, Bill, on places to stash your stuff. I have my little desk - full. I have appropriated a 3 door, 2 drawer buffet, also full. Looking for more places to put stuff. Oh, and a drawer and freezer in the rv for mixing stuff.
