Me, too. One of kidneys is shot. And I have a lot of gastro problems, pancreatitis, colitis, SIBO.
I've always thought the hardest part was trying to appear ok for other people. I am able to mostly be a recluse though. No one else is here most of the time.

I live with my folks. We get along great, but no adult male (I'm 39) wants to have to live with their parents. But as my health worsened and I lost my job, home, car(s), and most everything else, they have graciously and with zero drama, given me a place to live.
More than anything, I despise having to put them through more uncertainty and doubt, and even more financial burden, as MediCare and my measly federal disability income is woefully insufficient to cover everything. Every test, procedure, etc carries a leftover amount that the patient is responsible for.
I was doing okay for a while there. I had a little bit leftover to spend on my hobbies, mostly vaping obviously. But now I can't, in good conscience, spend any more dough on "fun" things. Even though those things are what would help keep my mind occupied, thereby keeping me in much better spirits and better able to cope with this new, much more severe condition.
I always considered dialysis to be the end of my personal road. So I'm trying to put it off as long as possible, no matter the pain. I don't see dialysis as offering any kind of RELIEF. It's just another thing to suffer through.
Thanks for letting me vent. I really oughta just take a (long?) break from the forum. I'm finding myself getting jealous of all the new toys! And I hate feeling that way.... Before, when I knew I had time to save up for stuff, it was different. Now, when I might not HAVE that time.......

I'm sorry you are having to endure all that and still trying to remain strong for others. I have health issues as well, but nothing compared with what you are having to go through. Hang in there brother.

Right? Reviews, builds, all gone. I cant even find the thread's corpse to see if I can figure out who nuked it. And jacking up Roxy is pure evil, regardless of whether shes in the game or no. she wasn't promoting the tank, she was explaining how to use it.
I subscribed to that last video review on YouTube, so at least I have that. I just will miss all the build info and such. I know when everyone else wakes up, they're going to panic. Great timing.
