I just received a Indulgence V3 but now have a problem. None of my atomizers or Cart's will screw in far enough to make contact with the post. The only thing that works are my CE2 Clearomizers. Has anybody ever had this problem before?

Hiya Devo.

I don't have an Indulgence, but I do run into this issue when I use a carto that I had mounted onto my Prodigy and switch it to one of my other PVs. Take a paper clip and stick it in the hole of your carto to bring its center post down a bit, at least flush with the threading, if not a micrometer further. Or, use a flathead screwdriver to lift the center contact post of the Indulgence's mount a little. That latter bit of advice is assuming the Indulgence has a center post that moves, as I'm not certain if it does.

I find that because of the way the Prodigy's 510 mount works, it is susceptible to pushing the carto's post deeper into the cart. If I try to mount it on my Riva batteries or my Shine mod, I have the exact same problem as you. Bringing the carto's center post back down solves the problem. Perhaps whatever PV you used before the Indulgence had a more pronounced positive battery post and it did the same thing.

Report back & let's see if we can get you back on track.

Cool, Thanks!!! I have most of my cart's working. Is it possible that one of the cart's pushed in the center contact post on the indulgence? It was working fine, then only the clearomizers worked. I can not see any way of pushing the center post back up again, I was thinking of taking the Dremel and taking a bit of the top off, but if that was not the problem, it would void the warranty.

Dremel is a no-no, haha. At least until the warranty runs out. Especially considering that you said it worked fine before.

The "cup" of the mount (the threadings) on your Indulgence is the negative polarity, & thus must be isolated from the center positive post. Most PV's use some sort of rubber/silicone/plastic o-ring to do this. Some (like my Prodigy) have the post exposed on the bottom (the side of the cap that touches the battery), so I just take a Sharpie or other blunt ended object and push the center post up a bit. I'm not familiar with the Indulgence's adapter so the post may not be accessible from the bottom of the adapter. What I have to do on some of my sealed batteries (like the Riva for example) is carefully pry the post up a bit by wedging a small jeweler's flathead screwdriver underneath the disc to raise it up. You need to be really careful not to damage the insulating disc.

What I really think is happening is perhaps some of your carts are just getting their center pins pushed up like I said earlier. Taking them on/off/on/off can cause this. It's much safer to use the paperclip and pry the carto's center contact down instead of fussing with the PV. My Boge cartos have a very firm center post, so they aren't a problem, but some of my Smok cartos (especialy the dual-coils) have center posts that move pretty easily. Look under your cartos and you'll see what I mean, the center post should be a very very very tiny bit further out than the threading. If you have any that have the center post deeper than the threading, pull them out & I bet your problem is solved, no Dremel required.
