aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand ---- I am reliably informed --------
[ quote --] I am informed that with an all metal body ecig
and with no wires and no solder to inhibit the power conductivity
that in fact the efficiency is increased by 20%,
so we can expect good things from this new generation
of all mechanical ecigs coming onto the market now. [end quote .]

The reason you get more vapor is because the larger battery is able to maintain a higher voltage longer. When you remove a battery from the charger it's at 4.2v. Overtime the ability for the regular ecig batteries to hold onto the higher voltage decreases. The same thing happens to the large batteries but at slower rate because they are recharged much less.
