The volcano's tankomizer uses the 510 thread to hold on not the o-ring. The empty cone foe covering cartomizers uses the o-ring. They request that you remove the o-ring with the tanks for better air flow and less chance of flooding.

I haven't seen the ego's in person. I've only seen them in pictures. But it looks like only the empty cone screws on using the threads near the button. It appears that their tank atomizer screws on using the 510 connection. I'm hoping that ego's tank atomizers attaches the same using the 510 connection. I figured that it would need the air to flow in from around the button area, where the threads are, to pass through to the atomizer.

If that is the case I thought it might be the same with the new ego-c's tank atomizer. But there are limited pictures of it on the internet. Actually if someone with a ego-c tank atomizer can send or post a good picture of the part of the cone that screws onto the battery I would really appreciate it.

There is a post for the ego-c but I can't access it yet since this is only my second post. I'm a big fan of tanks and I'm anxious to try out the ego-c tank system. I just bought the inferno 2 months ago and I don't want to drop around $40 for something that might not fit.
