This thing hits HARD.

The drip tip is about the most awesome thing ever.

The lock ring requires far too many turns to move from all the way locked to all the way open.

Some people hve described their switch as "crunchy." Mine isn't crunchy by any means, but it's "finicky." It's not as smooth as my brass Stingray (hcigar), which is a bit disappointing, though not really a huge deal.

It's teeny! This MOD in 18500 mode (with a nanoized quartz kayfun Lite + V2 (EHPro) and the included drip tip) is actually shorter than a couple of my 18350 MODs with a regular sized kayfun. Perfect for stealth, especially if I switch it to 18350 mode.

The finishing is done incredibly well, as is the threading throughout. Everything threads easily and swiftly. The engraving is deep and well cut.

I am VERY impressed with this clone. I'm going to disassemble the switch today and see if I can clean the finicky-ness out of it (though I've seen these reports in a few places which tempers my hope that it will work out for me). Other than that, which is only a minor annoyance on occasion, this MOD is great.

Did I mention how awesome this drip tip is? I wish I could order those by themselves, I'd get a handful of them.

I opened the switch, but there is only so disassembled you can get it.

I was able to get what I feel is an improvement. All I did was blow it out real good, wipe the threads down, then screwed it back together, backing off about 1/8 a turn.

I suspect there may be a burr (or burrs) on the ridges that guide the very bottom of the switch as is gets pushed in. Unfortunately I can't seem to figure out a way to completely disassemble that section in order to see if that's the case. In any event, it seems to be working better with just a simple blow out and backing out a small bit on the contact screw that holds it all together.

And it is very nice. If you're in the market for a black copper Stingray, I wouldn't hesitate.

Where did you purchase yours? I've been looking but haven't pulled the trigger yet, I'm waiting on a price I feel is reasonable. The one offering I looked at wanted $79.99 which was too much for me.

I bought it from a guy with good feedback on eBay.

Here is the listing I bought from, though he has raised his price since I bought it.

Can't blame him for the price increase, he's about on par as the other sellers on eBay. I'm just not going to spend $70 either. Not when the non Skorite version on FastTech is $35 and doesn't look half bad.

No juice in the tank right now.

We all have our own personal vaping budgets, but I'd definitely spend $70 on a nice Infinite (which by all reports seems to be the nicest of the clones) before I spent $35 on anything from FT. In fact, I'd go without and wait until something else came along that was a better deal before I bought a FT MOD. The quality from FT is simply too erratic.

I will say that I got the MOD from the seller in record time (I ordered Thursday, received it Saturday), and he has a really good feedback rating (so you can bet he's a quality guy to deal with).

You need one of these to finish that Kayfun cap

I should see mine on Weds, can't wait.

I have the Infinite brass Stingray and was able to fully disassemble the switch, cleaned it up and it works perfectly now.

I was looking at that mod and thought it was really nice. If you get the switch figured out please post what you did. I've heard that people are having better luck with the Infinite than the HCigar.

Don't think so.

I got the Stingray by Infinite...and the switch is a HUGE turn off. REALLY crunchy, REALLY wobbly.

I've attributed this to the fact that the metal ring inside the end cap doesn't fit snug, that seems to be the problem.

My magneto switch is amazing....this one sucks :(

Wonder if you just got a bad one?

As I said above after a thorough cleaning the crunch was gone. Never had the wobble.

How do you disassemble metal ring from the end cap?

Mine isn't wobbly, or even crunchy, but one side of the end cap will stick if I push the switch from a certain angle. It doesn't stick as in "it's still firing" but just one side of the end cap will hang part of the way forward which lends credence to the "metal ring not fitting inside the end cap very well theory. I sometimes get a metal click, and that seems also to be the metal ring inside the end cap being about .1mm too small.
