Just go my Infinity pro from Notcigs yesterday. Came with a charger, and I ordered an extra set of batteries and their tank.

The charger was DOA, but there was enough charge on the batteries they sent that I've been using the IP till today and I really like it. (Coming from an EPower 14650)

Today I figured out that it was just the cord for the charger that was bad, so I swapped out the cord from an old charger and the TR-001 seems to be working perfectly!

I didn't have much luck with the tank, should have ordered some punched cartos. Instead I slotted one of mine with a dremel, put it in the tank and filled it. But it was leaking like crazy out of the drip tip. Must have made too big of a slot in the Resurrector.

Anyone tried the tank from Madvapes?

WELCOME TO THE ECF

Congrats on getting your Infinity Pro. It's highly regarded around the ECF and glad you got your charger working. There are several videos on youtube that give you instructions on how to properly punch your cartos. Such as this one:

I haven't tried the tank from Madvapes yet but, I've heard a lot of good things about them.

Yes I did try the tank from madvapes... I love it.. No leaks and I'm using the same 2.0 ohm carto for a week and a half now..

The Ipro is a nice device, congrats on the purchase and glad to hear you're liking it! :toast:

I second the tip about higher ohm cartos. You get much better run time and have more room for fine-tuning your hit. However, I find that the Infinity really handles dual coils well, too, if you like a hot and hard-hitting vape ;-)

I'm using a 1.25 ohm dual coil Resurrector, (Measured it at 1.5 Ohms) In a tank.

It hits hard Just below the yellow on the dial, measured at 4.3 volts no load.

Been vaping all day on a fresh charge.

That calculates to 2.87 amps and 12.3 watts of power.

If I turn it up a little more the protection shuts it down. Supposed to shut down at 3 amps or 15 watts I think.

Where did you get thos cartos? The Ressurector cartos only come in 1.7ohm and are single coil.
I agree with what others said and feel a higher ohm carto will be better for a VV device like the IPro.
1.25ohm is a really low ohm carto so you wont be able to vape at a higher voltage. I higher ohm will give you more options

Hi, Rob. Dual coil cartos are kind of an exception to the rule, since they are two higher resistance coils wired in parallel. For example: a 1.25 ohm dual coil has two 2.5 ohm coils in it. As long as your device can handle the amperage draw they require, they are nice (but a hot vape) at higher voltages. Personally, I love the performance I get from the Ipro with dual coil cartos
In general, though, I agree that higher ohms are better for VV or higher voltage

Yeah, sorry look on this page: Crystal Clear Vaping
I bought a few boxes of each when I bough an Epower from CCV. The Mega Dual Coils look identical from the outside as the 1.7 ohm 'Resurrector'.

I dissected a resurrector and a dual coil and the internals looked very similar except for the two coils in the dual coil. I think the 'Resurrector' is more of a branding gimmick that CCV uses. I think their all made by the same company, maybe Smoketech?

Anyway that's why I'm using the LR cartos on the IP, because I had a bunch of them. They fire great. My next order will be for some higher resistance cartos.

Yes, the "Resurrectors" are made by Smoktech, as are the dual coils.

The difference between CE2's and CE3's is mostly the wick setup. CE2's have the coil at the top and use a longer wick that runs down toward the bottom of the carto, CE3's have a bottom coil design and a much shorter wick that works on a somewhat similar premise to the eGo-T (the juice will wick slowly by itself, but is accelerated by the syphon effect caused by sucking on it).
I like both styles, but due to manufacturing inconsistencies they both have their issues. I like the CE2's better both for their flavor and the fact that they are more "tinker friendly" and can be modded to improve lackluster performance, which you can't really do with the CE3's

Yeah the "ressurector" name is just the nickname that CCV, the vendor that sells them, gave to the 1.7ohm bigger single coil cartos they sell. They work really well and produce vapor similar to a dual coil, so CCV says that these will ressurect old batteries and PVs because they work so well.

The thing with the CE2/CE3 is that you either love them or you hate them. Personally I don't like them.
They can be very finicky and you have to do little things to make them work like they are actually supposed to. Alot of times they won't wick well and you have to keep turning them over to get them to wick the juice. Personally I find that really annoying That you have to mess with them to get them to work like they should.
Your welcome to try them tho, I would also get a pack of regular cartos though, in case you dont like the ce2/ce3's
