yep that's about right; as promoted before it came out.

I wasn't around before the Pro came out.

I went off of this post, when I ordered mine, from http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/notcigs/173244-pro-line-notcigs-pvs.html:

2. Infinity Pro , this is a new improved Infinity same basic look but several improvements

A. New Tube MFG , these will be the same quality as the Buzz tubes
B. New Controller IC , will handle LR attys etc. better low resistance performance .
C. Double Battery life
D. New top cap design , Like the Buzz design ( It should be replaceable like the Buzz )
E, Knurled bottom cap to make removing the battery cap easier .
F. New wheel design , It will have a Red/Wht/Blu lines on it so you can visually see the setting better ( red being hotter etc. )

Either way, I'm not complaining. I was just worried that something may be wrong with the PCB in my Infinity. I knew the Infinity Pro was listed as 3.3 - 5.5V. Just was a little worried about my Infinity. I just got it today. Sweet deal though.

On original infinity, make sure you put the batts in correctly, pretty sure it doesn't have reverse polarity protection.

(i have one, it is a really solid pv, like it a lot)

Yes on the batts !! , the unloaded voltage on the OLD Infinity will go higher but under load it goes to about 6 volts or so .
5.5V is correct on the IPro

I will try to change out the batteries before I start drinking. :)

No promises though...

Buzz, I think you guys repaired this one, not too long ago. S/N #25. :)

I can't decide which one I like better. I really can't. I'm glad I have both :)

i got my ipro today and wow...having used an ego device until now, this thing is absolutely awesome!
i have finally been able to use the vision 2.8 to their full potential. i have also noticed that the boge 2.0 cartos work better at 3.9 volts (for me). they make just a little more sound and gives more vapor while yet retaining the flavor. Are any of you guys unscrewing the bottom cap half a turn inbetween the vapes? this is my first day and i find myself unscrewing it so it doesnt drain battery....what are your thoughts?

2 ohms at 3.9V works out to 7.6W, pretty close to what I use (3.1 ohms, right around 5V, 7.5 - 8.5W range).

I only unscrew the cap over night or for carrying in my pants pocket, where I want to avoid misfires. It's a low power LED, leaving it powered on during the day has a negligible effect on run time.

I agree, on the BP (same controller), the Boge 2.0s are good for me at around 4v, but the Boge 3.0s really shine for me at or a little above the yellow mark (4.5-ish).

Too be honest, I don't ever unscrew the bottom cap except to change batts. I've never had it fire accidentally and I keep it in my front pocket all day. Plus, the power consumption is so minuscule it's not really a concern.

I also received my new first ever VV a Black with Chrome IP along with a couple of adapters 510-ego and 510-510 shorties from madvapes. I have plenty of ego stuff I want to try and use up. First off I put on a new Clear eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer 1.6 ohm and filled it up with some Halo Menthol Ice, set the IP between the yellow and green marks and took a couple of puffs and was floored how much vaper filled my space, I actually started to choke, I also have never witnessed this much flavor from this particular juice and it felt warm like the real thing.

The bottom line is I couldn't be any happier with this purchase. I hope this finally gets me off those nasty cig's. I think the IP is the best bang for the buck.
