After seeing that the HIGO is struggling with higher than 70vg juice, Focusecig asked me what vg levels people are using in their RTAs? Honestly, I'm not sure. I can't seem to handle higher than 70vg myself without heavy chest/congestion/asthma.

I'm hoping a lot of people will answer so I can give a good representation. Your answer helps manufacturers design attys that will work for you :). Feedback is important for helping you, the customer, get vaping equipment that you enjoy using.

If you use higher than 70vg, could you also list the RTAs you use it in?

Thank you very much!

I use mostly 50-70vg. I'm not sure what the vg level is on Charlie Noble or The Real is. I have one juice I use a lot that's only 35vg (NT Virus). I can't think of any RTAs I've used that I found problematic wicking any of the juice I use.
If u dont count the flavoring and nic which u shouldnt, im running 100% vg

Why wouldn't you count your flavoring and nic? They are part of the total solution. In that case almost all of use are using 100% vg, unless your running 100% pg.

Likewise, someone could say they only count their flavorings and nic.

When I started most juices were primarily 80% PG and as another member said {bsidb} the way juices read was PG/VG but now that is backwards. lol
Generally I use a wide variety of gennies, RTA's and RDA's....however you prefer to call them.
Usually I prefer 24mg in a 50/50 blend or with a higher prevalence of PG whenever possible.
I believe the pg keeps me from getting ill with colds and flu.
VG makes me severely congested and needing a inhaler if I use it in a more than 40/60 blend.
That can't be good with the higher temperature mods?

Yes, rebuildable tank atomizer. Generally the coil(s) are at the bottom and the juice is on top. Most use cotton or rayon for a wicking material. Silica was once popular, but not so much these days. There is quite a variety ranging from lower power, mouth to lung tanks up to tanks that can run high power and make big clouds. Have a look around :)

Ah! Okay thanks Roxy. Bottom coils, I get it now.

Bottom coils - invented for earth-bound vapers who must cope with gravity on a daily basis. Genny's provide optimal wicking for astronauts and basically no one else.

I'm not an astronaut, and I get great wicking in my gennies. Gravity seems no obstacle at all. That's because I build them right.

I make 75v/25p. They work fine in my current all day rta the crius. I do buy some "store brands" in which their labeling can be very misleading. Meaning what they call max vg could be 60v40p as the 40 is just flavoring. There is no real regulation in disclosing this. Some do dilute with dw as well and are not required to disclose they cut it with dw. But I digress. 75v has worked for me in most of my previous rta's as well. Tfv4, zephyrus and the like.

Yes, I agree that some of my vendor juice must be thinned with dw as well. That's my only explanation for why my diy is thicker with the same amount of vg.
