I was wondering if mr SaltE e-liquid (grapple berry) contains ethyl alcohol or any substance that could make me fail my ETG test? I heard that some vape juices do and I am curious.

While many e-liquid flavorings may use alcohol as a solvent, it's highly unlikely that it would cause a positive result with ETG tests.

Scratch that. Got to doing a bit of research and it seems there are some tests that are so sensitive, that using a hand sanitizer could conceivably cause a positive result.

I'd contact the folks at Chrystal Distribution (Chrystal Distribution). They manufacture the Mr Salt-E line and would be able to tell you if alcohol is used as a solvent in the flavorings they use.

Cowtown, USA. Where the West begins.
so what you are saying is one could fail the test by using mouthwash?? ouch...
Oh, yes. Easily. When I was running over the road, I gave up mouthwash entirely for this reason. With a commercial driver's license you blow drunk at .04, half the normal level, and the penalties are draconian, as in prison for a first offense. Fortunately I did my million miles, and didn't lose anything out there, so I don't have to go back and look for it. Nowadays I just have a Class C license, and can use mouthwash if I want to :)

Worse. There are hundreds of household products that could conceivably result in a positive test.

According to SAMHSA's research, positive EtG tests can result from the use of hand sanitizers, medications, hygiene products, cosmetics, foods and other products that contain even small levels of alcohol.

People can test positive for alcohol consumption after being exposed to laundry detergent, antiperspirant, aftershave and even hair spray.

EtG Test Cannot Distinguish Between Consumption and Exposure

Welcome and glad you joined.
Could inquire if the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) is a available for the product, I understand that often times alcohol is listed in some e-liquids.
