inhale and noise hit

i have two questions.

when i started ecigarette's, i used the ecig's that looked like cigarette"s.
i had to inhale to get the battery to come on.
now i am using those ego 1100 vv batteries and maybe i am inhaling too much eliquid in my mouth.
with the ego 1100 vv battery should i just hit the button and let my mouth fill with smoke, then inhale?

next question.

what about a noise hit? is it safe?

at least the eliquid will stay out of my mouth.

thank you

I'm currently using a mini until my mid-size arrives but my mini is a manual. My understanding is that a draw on a manual is still required. The difference between my auto and manual minis is that I draw much lighter on the manual than I do on the automatic.

Also, there are quite a few posts about dealing with how to get a good hit. Check those out, watch a YouTube video, etc.

As for the nose hit, I can't imagine why it would be bad. I wouldn't do it in public though. :)

What are you using on your Ego, sounds like you may be on the verge of flooding it, it's getting to much liquid. Sometimes what works for me is turning up the voltage for a puff or two when I notice there is to much liquid on the coil.

Are you saying you are inhaling directly to your lungs, if so, yeah, try bringing the vapor into your mouth first before inhaling. The cigalikes usually give off so little vapor that you can direct inhale, but often times it becomes a little much once you've moved up to something with a bit more power.

I don't do nose hits, so i don't have an answer for you there.

I would probably stay away from nose hits. I've never heard of it, but that much niccotine/vapor going through the thin membranes might be too much. The Propylene Glycol in the Ejuice tends to dry out your mouth a bit, so stay hydrated. With a nose hit, I can just imagine nose bleeds if it gets too dry, especially during winter.

Part of using an Ecig is enjoying the flavor. I use mouth hits usually, but occasionally do lung hits. if you have a VV battery, try turning the voltage down to regulate how much vapor you get. If you think you are getting too much, just turn down the voltage. Vaping "technique" will vary to the user. if you're just now getting off of cigarettes, just do what comes naturally and adjust your hardware to match your style of vaping. If juice is splattering into your mouth, then try a bottom coil clearomizer.

Early in my "vaoing career" after having some Dental work done my Dentist suggested I "nose" vape for at least 6 hours afterwards. He thought the suction from vaping "might" cause damage to some work he had done. Used nasal gel/ moisturizer to help with dryness. Wasn't a big deal and I vaped very little. If anyone is wondering about veins being too close to the surface in the nasal area I'd suggest they take a look at the vein structure under the tongue. Some vapers even French inhale if needing a stronger hit.

Ok so this nose hit thing has got me giggling a bit... When I think of nose hit I think of taking vapor into my mouth then exhaling the vapor through my nose without inhaling it to your lungs. Yes it can be done and sometimes if I take a larger hit that is what I do. Sticking your PV up your nose? I can't imagine, I'd love it if someone who DOES that though chimes in and sets us all straight. I would also consider a nose hit to be a french inhale, which is becoming semi habitual for me. I find sending the vapor through your nose I get a much larger sense of the flavor of the juice I'm vaping... Alomonillabacco, I get a sweet creamy undertone to it when the vapor goes through my nose that I don't otherwise.

Btw... Delaware is typically an VERY humid climate, so winter time we all die down here from how dry it gets. I have not had any nasal irritation since starting to vape. If anything my head feels better because its not got smoke going through it now.

I'm wondering, is it possible you are drawing too hard on your PV? I drew harder on my blu when I was using it than I do now. Now I almost barely draw on it, just expand my mouth as the vapor fills it. Does that make sense?

If you are getting liquid in your mouth there is a big chance you're hitting it way too hard/sucking way too hard.
My wife had the same problem. I checked all her O rings to make sure it was set up right and I also checked the other places it could leak.
I recommend letting it burn for a 1-2 seconds then hitting it.
I also had to explain that its a slow steady hit with the ego style/non rebuildables not a super hard sucking hit.

Also, it could just be a crap tank (if you have that style, we had that problem at first as well) Hitting had no factor in the matter.

I'm having trouble with this... & I feel stupid saying, "I have trouble with this."

How hard can it be? Right?

So I take a hit off my eCig..... a good 4 to 5 seconds. I've got a mouth full of smoke... when I try to inhale it into my lungs, it's enough smoke to choke me.

I VERY much struggled with this too... to the point I was starting to think we wasted money on getting set up with vaping... and yes, I agree... it feels silly that it would be a problem! I think that the best advice I got was to start taking 2 second hits to begin with and figure out how to inhale larger amounts of vapor that way. You CAN do it, just keep practicing. And keep in mind that the largest amount of nicotine absorbed into your body comes from your mouth and nose, not your lungs.

Thanks for the suggestion....

However, I'm going to have to assume my problem was with the transition. I'm on day 3 now & not experiencing the harsh throat hit on the same eJuices.....gotta say, I love vaping.

When I first started vaping, I couldn't take the VAPOR into my lungs at all. I switched to a 100% VG juice and a bottom coil clearo. That did the trick. After a few weeks, I was able to transistion to a regular juice mix. The high PG can really do a job on your lungs when you first start, at least that was the case for me.
