Unpacked my GGTS and have a couple of questions.

Installing an atomizer. Pulled out the pin, installed a 901 atomizer.....how do you know how far the pin is supposed to be pushed back in? It won't budge when applying pressure.

What batteries would you start with? I've heard you can use any combo, but don't have a clue how that works either....will have to read up and probably have to order more parts.

It would have been nice to get an instruction manual in the box. Fortunately, I downloaded a copy from the wiki page.

Thanks for any assistance

I dont do it like this. My method is to push the center pin by finger and then I screw any atomizer. Then I screw the telescope until it stops.

Just following the instructions in the manual:

Using Different Atomisers
1. Pull the center pin out on the top cap (not as far as taking it completely out)
2. Screw on the atomiser
3. Push the center pin until it touches the atomiser center pole
4. Install the top cap on the GGTS

and what Rob did in the youtube video.....HERE

Here's mine....and the the pin will not go in any further (as is the case in the youtube video).

I dont do it like this only because some people pull the pin too far and they took it out because they are new users. Scottevil had the same experience.

Of course I do it my way just because its quicker. But if you dont want to put your finger inside the collector tank then yes the wiki prossedure is the right one Para

Well, even though I did not pull the pin all the way out, I managed to ruin the o-rings in that black thing.

I believe I'll log off for now. If I post how I feel about this purchase and the customer service I'll get banned. I am one ...... off dude.

Parallex,

You obviously are frustrated and it's quite understandable, but you need to know that customer service is awesome with not only Imeo the maker but as well with all members of this GG family. Please take 5 step back and breath, we all here will help you and get you squared away, If I have to myself I will with no problem, please PM me and I will guide you through what you will need to do.

Parallex2,

I explained to you how to disassemble the center pin assembly and re-install the o-rings. I even offered to send you new ones if yours were damaged. I told you if you had further problems with it to let me know and we'd help you out but I never heard back from you.

I'm sorry but it frustrates me when people make a call out on our customer service but never tell me a problem still exists! :)

I would love to offer a user manual with the GG but by the time we wrote one, Imeo would change something! LOL However I will include a note with all future orders about the center pin. I've even talked to Imeo today about putting the threads back on them so they can't be pulled out anymore.

Before I recommend a battery setup I'd like to ask what you are used to using and what you are looking to get out of the GG.

Seriously, if you need more help let me know...

Thanks
Rob

Rather than take your statements apart piece by piece, I prefer to keep all further discussions between us private. You will receive a call from me first thing in the morning. I hope I don't get the answering machine again.

One thing that does need to be said on the message board is....I find it unconscionable you would send out such a device with NO documentation whatsoever. By your own admission steps have to be taken to prevent damage to the GGTS when installing an atomizer.

Without a warning and documentation....just how will anyone know? I really would like to hear the answer to that.

You posted here at 9:59PM about being frustrated and not wanting to say anything about the customer service you've received. Your last message to us in our CRM system was at 9:24PM. I am sorry but I don't man the customer service desk 24 hours a day and I don't see how you've hardly given me a chance to correct anything before posting here how unsatisfied you are.

Perhaps you'd prefer to just return it for a full refund? I'll even email you the label to send it back.

Thanks
Rob

Parallex2, in the last few days I posted these pictures but here they are again:

Leak fix o-rings pictures by HoPeFuLLL - Photobucket

This is taking them out and putting them back in.

I started like you when I got my GGTS, had an issue and flew off the handle. People here helped me, all good quickly. Need to sit back and relax a bit mate, all will be fine but I'm sorry about the bad start.

Like I said, I'm not going to address your statements both via email or here because it only serves to become a tit for tat. If you feel the need to continue to shift the responsibility for the situation onto me; have at it....but you'll do it by yourself. End of discussion.

Hopefulll,,

Showing those needle nose pliers in your how too is a bad idea, a socket from a ratchet set would be a much better way to remove and install the brass part I forget the exact size off the top of my head but this way there is NO CHANCE of buggering up the brass.
