First off, WOOOHOOO!! my GGTS has arrived!

I was very by surprised at the size of the unit. After seeing many of the great pictures posted by GGTS owners, I had expected it to be much larger than it actually was. Even with a 18650 inserted, the entire unit (not including atomizer) fits easily in my hand. I should have known better knowing the size of a 18650, but it still surprised me. Part of my initial reservation in ordering was unit size. Rest assured that I am happy with the compact size.

Speaking of batteries, I did scare myself a bit. I had a difficult time inserting the 18650 battery the first time. I purchased these 18650's from mad vapes. (Red Ultrafires) I also have 2 High-drains from light hound that I am currently charging. After some turning while inserting the battery I got it in. It is a tight fit however.

Obviously I echo all that has been said regarding the quality construction and good looks. It is better looking than any other ecig I have owned and it has a comfortable "heft" when in my hand.

I was also somewhat concerned with the button placement. This is the first model I have owned with the button at the "wrong" end of the unit. Not to worry, it actually feels very natural and I have had "0" problems adjusting.

I am not going to comment on performance just yet as I have only been using it for 30 minutes.

I only want to say to anyone who may be "on the fence" due to concerns with button placement or unit size to set those worries aside and get one right away!. I will comment on performance after a week's worth of use.

Thanks imeo and Rob, I am very pleased thus far:thumbs:

Be careful with that Big Red Ulta Fire battery. There have been a few folks with the wrapper coming off and shorting out inside the tube. Stick with those new High Drains you are charging now. I love those things. Been using them for about a week now and actually like my 3.7 again.

Welcome to the club elindil. And yes I was apprehensive about the button also but the other end feels wrong to me now....hahhaha...

How long to you get out of the high-drains before have to switch 'em out?

I got almost two days out of the 18500 and the 18650 was pushing three..... I was hitting my 6v every now and then but that was great vaping the whole time. They feel strong up until they just drop off. Not like the standard 18650 where it kinda trails off and keeps going but sorta week. The high drain has a different curve I think. They get better after charging a few times too.

Congratulations and keep us posted on your experience with it. I should have mine later this week and posts like this don't make it any easier!

Throw a 510 low resistance atty (if you use 510s) on there with your AW IMR 18650 and u should be in vapor country (that combo is working great on my Chuck).

Yea low resistance atties with the high drain is the bomb. I have had my i3 kicking out vapor just like my i6 with two CR2 but with better flavor.

Glad you finally got yours El!

I'm dripping some Strawberry Cheesecake into my favorite atty right now and vaping in celebration!

Definitely better flavor, my waffle actually tastes like waffle now :D, what is the Ω rating on the I3 atties?

I'm not sure how to respond to this.

They should be around 3 ohms maybe a bit less. They vary from the factory +- .2 I think.

HAHHAHA I had to do a double take on the waffle comment. You must have some waffle flavored juice or something?

haha yea, Cigtechs Rath Juice, not the greatess I have had, but the waffle does taste pretty darn good. Its a high %VG base (they don't state it in the ordering page) i believe cause it puts out clouds.

Thanks for the resistance numbers.

Thanks Stormy. I fell kinda silly whining, but it was worth the wait!

I think most of us have done a little whining while we were waiting for a GG. They certainly are worth the wait. It is nearly impossible to describe the GG experience. You just have to see it for yourself. :):):)

Glad you're liking it. Had a minor mishap with #61 today.

Screwed the atty in too hard, and the unit short circuited. (After a month, my old trooper 510 has gone to atty heaven.) Had a spare, but the button felt really, really weak, even after spreading the spring out. This happened in the Okla. Cty courthouse.

After raiding a few judges chambers and the local law library, I found a cheap click pen. Breaking it open, I realized the spring was the perfect size.

I borrowed a mini leatherman from a deputy, modified the spring, and put the button back together. It vapes perfectly again, modified in the field by a mechanical novice. Gotta love the GGTS.

Very good going there clyde... that was Imeo's whole point in making such a user serviceable device. I can't tell you how many times I have been able to get mine back to working again quickly and easily. A friend at work has a Grant and his did pretty much the same thing one day and we got him back going again the same way. Took the button apart and fixed the spring and he was all smiles again.
