Glad you're liking it. Had a minor mishap with #61 today.

Screwed the atty in too hard, and the unit short circuited. (After a month, my old trooper 510 has gone to atty heaven.) Had a spare, but the button felt really, really weak, even after spreading the spring out. This happened in the Okla. Cty courthouse.

After raiding a few judges chambers and the local law library, I found a cheap click pen. Breaking it open, I realized the spring was the perfect size.

I borrowed a mini leatherman from a deputy, modified the spring, and put the button back together. It vapes perfectly again, modified in the field by a mechanical novice. Gotta love the GGTS.

Nice post Clyde ought to make a little plaque for that old 510

No kidding. I've never had an atty last for over a month before. In addition, I'm actually liking the stiffer spring on the button.

Yes very nice to know you can carry out running repairs, after your raves about 18650 + 510 thought i'd give it a go and yes it's now been my favourite vape for over a week :D

Even a blind squirrel occasionally gets an acorn, but that you. But the nice thing is that if I want to try one of my imeo atties at 6v next week, I'm covered.

I watched a video review of the silver bullet recently by the ikenvape guy. And he had a point that really struck home. He mentioned that he likes 3.7v vaping since he is used to long, drawn out inhales on analogs.

And I'm wondering if that is a vital, though unlooked at, part of the reg vs. hv vaping experience. People smoke analogs differently, some deeply inhale, others puff. Besides wondering if that's why I am a mass murderer of attys at HV, I'm thinking that the ability to deliver adequate vape and TH with your previously established smoking/vaping style is the key to it.

Which one do you have in your hand BTW? I am a little shocked at the fact that I really do not know much about these. E cigs are a very big part of my day to day. You would think I would have or at least know something about the GG line. Looks pretty cool, and from what I am learning, work pretty good as well.

Be careful with that Big Red Ulta Fire battery. There have been a few folks with the wrapper coming off and shorting out inside the tube. Stick with those new High Drains you are charging now. I love those things. Been using them for about a week now and actually like my 3.7 again.

Welcome to the club elindil. And yes I was apprehensive about the button also but the other end feels wrong to me now....hahhaha...

While this is not yet a review of the GGTS performance, I will say this: I have gone all day and not picked up my eGO one time. Throughout all the other ecigs I have owned, I have always moved back and forth between my current mod and a Janty product of some type---Dura, Janty Stick, or eGo..............You may not realize it, but me not using the eGo is a huge endorsement of the GGTS!:hubba:

I got my GGTS on Saturday and absolutely love it, as a matter of fact I ordered a second one on Monday [just had to have one with brass at both ends]. I don't see it replacing my Ego when out and about but I think it's going to give my Chuck and SB some real competition when at home. The price can be a little difficult to justify but boy, this is one incredibly well built unit!

Congratulations Elendil!

Who needs ego when he's got a GGTS anyway? :D
