I got my GGTS on Saturday and absolutely love it, as a matter of fact I ordered a second one on Monday [just had to have one with brass at both ends]. I don't see it replacing my Ego when out and about but I think it's going to give my Chuck and SB some real competition when at home. The price can be a little difficult to justify but boy, this is one incredibly well built unit!

Welcome aboard crand!!! I had to sell off my SB, Chuck, SD, Protege, V2, because after I got the GG they just started sitting there. I figured let someone else get some use of them. I wouldn't be needing them anymore. They were all nice mods but just shadowed in comparison to the GG line. I own 5 GGs now and love each and every one of them.

I'm with Mist on this one... With all the battery options on the GGTS I would just go ahead and sell the ego battery and strap that 510 atomizer on the GG and head out for a night on the town..

As soon as the AFS gets in, I'll probably do that..........

I don't have a GG YET. Lurking around here and listening to all you fanatics ;) has convinced me that I must have one, so now I just have to convince the husband, and that won't be until after he recovers from buying new hives and assorted bee keeping equipment this month. (He's cheap, and it's a big purchase. He may take to his bed for a while.)

However, I did receive my first mod recently, and I haven't touched my eGo since it got here. I'm sending two of my eGos to my mom and sister so they can try out vaping, and after I have a couple of more mods, I'll probably get rid of my last one that I'm keeping for backup right now. I love the eGo, but I just can't see hanging on to something that I'm not going to use.

If you ever buy the GG Slim you will discover that it is as reliable as the GGTS and is my out and about vaping device.

Crand,
Hey man, Glad ya like the GGTS. I really love all my GG units...They realy are a work of art, easy to maintain, look good, and reliable. The list go's on and on...But as far as price go's...Yea..It costs a lil more then some others, but its worth every penny in my book...I hope ya enjoy your GGTS...Let us know if ya have any issues.....

Oh...Welcome to the club...:D

I got my GGTS Monday (wow that was fast shipping by the way).

I really only bought it to try out 18650 batteries and since I have disposable income, I wanted something at least as pretty as my Proteges. ;)

My problem is I bought 3 UltraFire 3000 mah batts and not one of them fits inside the stock GGTS. They're just too fat.

So...

I spent about 30-40 minutes gently sanding the insides of the GG's outer sleeve section and periodically testing the fit. I don't think I made more that half a hair's width in material removal after all of my efforts (sheesh Imeo, what did you do to your aluminum? It's tougher than nails lol)

Anyway, after my lack of progress in sanding, I simply removed the red outer plastic company logo wrap on the batteries (they still have a white plastic generic wrap on the battery underneath) and once I did that they fit a bit easier, but they are still snug.

Anyone have a list of the 18650's that fit without modifying the battery or further modifying the GG?

Other than that, the GGTS works flawlessly, is as pretty as can be, is compatible with my current 14500's, and is just plain fun to play with.

I have 4 18650 3000 mah batteries, one fits, one is a tight fit and 2 are too tight to fit. Seems the like its a consistency problem with the batteries. I also have 4 AW 18650LiMNs that fit without an issue.

I might look into removing the outer cover on the 2 3000 mah batteries, or just keep them for my Chuck.

Thanks for the quick response Kaji!

Do the AW's vape as nice as these 3000's?

I just started using these with along with some LR atties and I really can't tell a difference between them and the 3000s right now. I think I might just stick with the 3000s or try the new AW 2600 mah ones.

Anyone want to buy two AW IMR 18650 LiMNs for $20 shipped, they are brand new and fully charged? :D

In the land of no hills and red dirt
It's been sitting in desk drawer for the past week, so pretty and shiny that I didn't want to sully it with my dirty hands.

But she's going into my trusted suit pocket this morning, and 61 is getting her first day off in over a month. I've decided to put a coat of polish on and let it sit and soak (sort of like a spa day for her). She's earned it.

I'd like to say I'll be gentle with her, but we all know that would be a lie...
