I bought one and it just came in today. First impression is the new pods are more flavorful than the original ones. I am pleased with the build quality as I was worried about that. It almost looked like plastic in the pictures and I was thinking it was going to be like the Nautilus AIO which was cheap plastic. This feels more sturdy, not sure what it is made of though. I checked, the old pods are compatible with this and visa versa. That's about all I have for now as it is quite new and will play around with it for a little before I have anymore thoughts.

Hey Vicman,

Thanks for your support and picking one up! Glad to hear you're overall pleased with the build quality and flavor. I believe the shell is an aluminum alloy. Old EQ pods are indeed compatible with the EQs, but be careful not to try EQs pods on the original EQ, as that combination will not work.

Cheers!

Strange, because I bought the white one because they were sold out of the black ones. And mine seems to be a plastic shell. Maybe only the black is metal?

To me it feels heavier than the original, but the plastic shell part really gives it a cheap feel. My original one is metal and you can definitely tell that when its cold outside. So I guess its a pro and a con at the same time. Love that it has a battery indicator that tells you levels now. I am really going to miss being able to stand it on its bottom though when im not charging it. And the side charge port will make pass through a bit wonky. But all in all, I think the pros are worth the cons.

Thanks for making such a great product Innokin, my local vape shop keeps trying to sell me on other stuff, but yours just hits too perfectly for me to give it up.

I have the gun metal/grey one and it does not feel plastic to me. It does feel light though but not as bad as the Nautilus AIO felt. Innokin Joseph said it was an aluminum alloy and it feels that way to me. A lighter alloy than the zinc alloy stuff out there. Honestly, I like the finish on the original better. It almost feels like a rubberized covering or something like that. Not slippy in the hands and no finger prints. I do get it to stand but it is not the most stable free standing pod. It kind of wobbles, lol.

First of all - thank you for doing the contest Innokin, it was such a good idea to do custom pods. :thumb:

Blown away at how my EQs came out, it's absolutely fantastic :D I just love the result  and appreciate all the behind the scenes work you guys did.

    As for the pod ;)

Love how I can play with the wattage, really loving the plex3d coil and it's a more compact size than the original EQ.

Mine arrived the other day Ange. Two actually.

I kept one inside the shrink wrap and gave the opened one to Mrs States. She drew the flower.

The white one is more 'elegant' in look and feel. Almost felt like a ceramic coating. Plenty weighty without seeming heavy. The three settings was a nice improvement. I prefer low for a nice cool vape.

Knowing the previous version of pods meant my wife's stockpile won't go to waste if/when her red previous version quits. She's keeping the custom one for special occasions.

    Hello
Is this pod good for throat hit?

    Hey Alex,

The EQs is a true MTL focused kit. It depends on your e-liquid, but with the necessary nicotine strength you're sure to get a strong throat hit with the EQs. Nicotine salts are also a treat in the EQs, which can give you a smoother hit than freebase e-liquid.
