Hiya,

Generally I am a MTL vaper, but did some DTL lately on my Find S Trio and really enjoyed it, it is a restricted lung hit but would like to try a proper DTL hit.

Would the Innokin i-Sub B be a good choice? Anyone here has experience with that tank?
My goal is to vape DTL on lower wattage as I like to just use my Pico for all my tanks.

Or would anyone recommend me a good rta for beginners (single coil)?

Thanks!

The Innokin GoMax is a 5.5ml, disposable subohm tank with essentially the same coil used in the iSub B. I think it has a little more air, nut can be closed off a bit. You can likely find one of those for under $8 somewhere and try one for a week or so. If you like it, spring for the iSub B.

I've switched from a Zenith MTL tank to an iSub-B recently. My first experience was not so good with bad taste and mesh coils burning out very quickly even on low wattage but that turned out to be a QC issue. Got my tank exchanged for another and have been happily vaping away on the first coil for 8 days or so since.

I like it but, as you will find, the top-fill is not very convenient on this one and the construction of the inner chimney seems unnecessarily flimsy. I'm not entirely sure how well the tank will stand the test of time. The flavor is spot-on, very full and concentrated and vapor production with a 70VG liquid is also abundant (sometimes even a bit much). I am enjoying it.

Also bought an NRG tank from Vaporesso in which I'm using the GT4 coils (about to try out one of their ceramic coils next) and it too is a very decent little tank. Flavor seems a bit more defined than with the iSub but that may be purely subjective.

On average, I find the NRG tank has a better airflow, less restricted, than the 4 holes of the iSub but they are both enjoyable vapes.

Not topic related, but I recently got a SKRR-S tank with the included QF range of coils (QF Striped & QF Mesh) and I've heard the GT coils perform much better. Have you tried the GT2 or GT8? I'm not sure which one to buy! I'm thinking of grabbing the GT4 as it seems to be a middleground.

Also curious about the ceramics...
