Innokin iTaste SVD vs Innokin iTaste Mini 134

Ok, as many of you know, I am a newbie not only to the scene, but also to this board. I am presently using an Itaste EP (apparently an earlier model without the clip top ).

Anyway, payday is looming and I feel the need to spend some money on my new lifestyle and want to buy something that I (hopefully) will be happy with for a while. :p

So then, I am presently down to two innokin offerings: The SVD and the mini 134. I realize the latter has a lower battery capacity, but barring that, which would or do you prefer.

Thank you in advance for any and all input you can offer.

There's a known problem with the SVD's firing button, so please take that into account before you buy. fasttech has a fairly liberal exchange policy, but having to deal with shipping means significant turnaround time to receive a replacement. If you're buying from a B&M with ample stock and a fair exchange policy, then I would go SVD no question.

If not for the issues with the firing button, it would be an excellent product. The thing gave a great vape before it busted on me.

I have several Innokins: MVP 2, vv.V3, EP, SVD and 134.

I would recommend only the MVP2, vv/V3 and the EP.

I have topper connections issues with SVD - reported fire button short longevity.

My 134 has been daily, allot, for about 3 weeks and I just today get a humming sound when pressing the fire button (fresh or used battery doesn't matter) - sound just like a humming transformer.

Interesting in that the two most expensive units are showing issues already - of course I may be a rare case or maybe not.

The MVP 2 is my favorite - what a work horse - lasts longer than rated its 2600mah battery - they must be high drain batteries.

You could get the VV/V3 and a MVP2 for less than one SVD.

I would say exactly the same thing about the SVD issue but when it works its the best, maybe add try other options like an MVP 2.0
