Hello all,

I am new to vaping, (actually haven't really started yet) and I have been researching equipment. Based on that research, I have made a purchase of an Innokin MVP Shine, and and Innokin MVP Energy. I also made a purchase of two extra Innokin iClear30B's. Should this be ok for a starter setup? Also, I'm trying to figure out what the best GLASS tank would be for me to purchase, as I see myself wanting to try all kinds of flavors, and from what I've read, the plastic tanks seem to crack a lot. Anyone else using an MVP have a suggestion for a good match?

Thank you all for reading, and thank you for those that might contribute comments and suggestions.

I've heard great things about the Aspire Nautilus, I have an mvp and started with the Kanger Protank 2 and really hated it so I switched over to the G-40. I will be getting the Nautilus, I dont usually use tanks just mostly drip.

Aspire Nautilus
Kanger Pro-Tank 3
Kanger Mini 2
G-40

hope this helped.

Thank you guys for the recommendations. I'm currently a pack a day analog smoker, and I am wanting to vape to decrease and eventually stop my dependency on analogs. Would either of those have a similar feeling draw?

It depends on a lot of things aside from the tank you're using as well, for example the ratio of the eliquid you use (higher PG content=more throat hit, and thus simulating the feel of an analog better than something with a high VG content). I have not used cartotanks but my understanding is that they also provide a more "analog type" vaping experience...I'm looking into cartotanks now, and I think I'm going to order the Smok Pyrex DCTank (SMOKTech Pyrex DCTank Glass DCTank). Maybe research those?

But I have to say, I have a Nautilus and love it. The adjustable airflow ring works great. I also have a MVP 2.0 (Energy edition, Hunter) and you definitely made a good choice battery-wise!

I just started vaping myself so i am going through 2 or 3 new flavors a day trying to find one I really like. I have found a couple. Anyway point is my taste buds were rather killed by the analogs. I am most happy with my MVP topped with an iclear 30s it gives me the most flavor. I haven't cracked a tank yet and I have tried menthol and cinnamon flavors. It is plastic but like I said haven't cracked one yet and it offers more flavor then my protank 3 or vivi, protank 2 mini or emode. The only real draw back for me is that it sucks up juice like crazy.

Hello, Hudson, and welcome! :) I too started on an MVP and now have two even tho I also got ProVari's in my arsenal. Up to this point, I've been using ProTanks and Davides, both sizes, easy to learn on as well as rewicking and rebuilding coils. It's been 8 mos since I started, and at first I used my mini tanks more as I changed juices often during the day because of "vaper's tongue" which took me quite a while to get over as I smoked for 53 yrs. The Nautilus is a 5 ml tank for all day vaping. Am only now considering buying one.

I see. I am also considering getting into rebuilding my own stuff. Are the iClears rebuildable at all? And sorry for asking all the questions.
Welcome to vaping! Great choice on MVP, you won't be disappointed. Iclear30b is a good tank, but the draw is a little tight. Also they are a very difficult rebuild. Although they are plastic , I believe mine came with a warranty against cracking. I would recommend a protank w/ aero base for adjustable airflow. Protank coils are very easy to rebuild. I don't have a Nautilus, but a friend does, and he likes his better than protank, but like the 30b, coils are not easily rebuilt, and are comparatively more expensive.

I have 3 mvp's. I like the iclear16 and the 30 that came with them but some flavors will eat the tank or the drip tips. I've tried Vivi novas, aspire bdc nova tanks. However I justified started using both the aerotank and mini protank 3 and I'm really happy with both of them. Not sure which I like more. The mini seems to have a warmer Vape but the aerotank produces more vapor. BTW I am not impressed with aspire bdc nova. Flavors seem to be muted on it, plus the coils cost more then the kangers.
