My new innokin MVP3 has arrived! Handsome devil! I'm charging him now. Pictures to follow! (shipped faster than I thought. I only saw the tracking this morning in an email and it was here in the morning mail. Guess they were getting the order ready and out but didn't update the status on the site until yesterday evening! I was checking every day, of course...)

I haven't been around much for a while, do to incursions from real life and the fact that I decided after some experimentation that a VV3 or V4 with a Davide on top was pretty much my choice of equipment. I like the skinny square shape, light weight and easy to press fire button, they work well with my hands, which don't work well.

However, due to a cascade of unfortunate events (today's involved a swing away table/desk full of electronics, a cat and a full glass of water) I am now vaping on my backups to my backups. So if anyone knows of any deals on the
itaste VVs I'd like to know. And I am still tempted by the Coolfire 4s so if anyone could give me a weight description - maybe where they would fall on a scale of VV v3 to MVP3 - I'd appreciate it.

I posted a link for some VV3s on the other thread. There is also this possibility ...I just got a MVP3 from this outfit for $20. Ships from the U.S. pretty quickly, too. Postage is around $5. Innokin iTaste MVP V3.0---Black - $19.99

Of course I see weight is probably an issue. It's hard to find Coolfire 4 now...but I'll look and see if I can find a link. They are much lighter than the MVP3, and are nice in the hand. They are just a bit scarce these days.

I have the cool fire 4 and the TC40w and I like the TC40 better
lite, very small, bigger screen, bigger battery, cheaper
maybe as close as you'll get to the VV3...

- Eleaf iStick 40W TC - Battery Only

- Eleaf iStick 40W TC Base Kit - 40W TC, 60W TC, 100W - Eleaf iStick - Electronic Mods

:)

Anyone looking for a safe mech for a backup or stash or ? the Aspire CF mod is on sale at Vapage for $15 and a free bottle of juice. No cheap shipping option. Carbon fiber and aluminum makes it light, spring 510, large lit button, 18650. I ordered 2. My wife has one and likes it.

I saw that and my finger twitched but I had to pass. 1. I don't like Aspire products, and 2. I just spent my last vape money for a bit on an Innokin SVD 2... gave $30 for an unopened kit.

I like my SVD 2 but it is heavy and long in 18650 mode. Kbox mini is better for work day. My wife doesn't want any buttons or screens. She is home bound with a mountain of batteries and a charger.
Yeah, sure, but what other mod can do double duty as a billy club?

Careful with that one, Shawn. I cracked a similar joke here on that several months ago and people took me seriously!

It would still be something next to the bed to reach for if someone breaks into the house...

I've been known to put a heavy RTA on mine and take it on my late night walk-abouts. Picked it up from a shop closeout for $19.
Watch out, next thing we will be seeing in the news is "man attacks innocent dog walker with ecigarette".

Of course the truth being "man thwarts attacker with ecigarette"...when asked to comment he stated "takes a licking and keeps on ticking".
