In regards to the replaceable Lipo packs, 1. My MVPs are over a year old and still going albeit shorter vape time. By the time the Lipo pack wears out, we will be ogling the next great thing. 2. Price point of the pack may be more than a mod. 3. Baditude is always stating that Lipo will catch fire, IMR will not so he prefers batteries over packs.

Reading comprehension my friend :) I was saying an MVP OR a CFIV could do a number on the Istick.

I have told this story here before but it bears re-telling:
I was at the vape store and the newbe counter help were bragging about the iStick. I said "Those things are no where near the build quality of an Innokin" I then proceded to stick my arm straight out and drop my VV3 to the floor with the atty on it. I picked it up and vaped it. They said "Your Crazy". I said "Not really, I have faith in the build quality" and then proceeded to drop it from shoulder height three more time in quick succession then pick it up and vape it. I then said "Now show me how rugged your iStick is"......................crickets, not one taker, not even one word.

But hey, if your happy with your device and it's keeping you off the stinkies then that is a great device!

The Packard motor car had a slogan more years ago then most of us were alive. "Ask the man who owns one". We just did.

I stayed far away from the iSticks from day one , i have never been a bandwagon jumper type . I'm loyal like that , Eleaf has been getting killed all over "Reddit" and other forums for refusing to help customers who have had a problem and for their tendency to ALWAYS blame the end user for any issues whatsoever.

People are outraged lol, never seen that kind of hate for a company , it's really over the top. Phil Busardo recently said that Innokin and Eleaf are on completely opposite ends of the spectrum regarding quality, Innokin has it in spades and Eleaf doesn't have any , i wasn't surprised actually. That remark is in the comments section of his Coolfire 4 review.

herb...Please...Please...don't post this over in the "Eleaf iStick" thread.

The rebuttals from the immensely satisfied iStick owners there would run for pages and pages (and days and days)...completely disrupting the "flow" of that excellent thread!!!

What I always do when a new thingie comes out... I watch the threads, and the price of said thingie, for a few months... I knew the iStick20s "ran hot" (won't step down) so I was in no hurry. Watched the 30w and 50w threads, and the prices coming down, down, down... and what I saw was a BUNCH!!!!!!!! of threads and posts about very bad misbehavior of all sorts from the 50w's... but not so many on the 30w's, just now and then a minor gripe. And still the prices fell.... Finally, armed with 2nd hand knowledge of which was most likely the more sound and the fact that it was the lower-priced of the two, cheap enough now that it's worth a risk, I got an iStick30, then another. And I've been delighted with both my iStick30's since I got 'em.

Yes, they're cheap -- so I waited till their *purchase* price was also cheap enough to make it a worthwhile risk.

Same here. I love my 30w and have never had a bit of problem with it. But I also love my MVP 20W's and my SVD 2.0 and figure that those will probably outlast the iStick. But nothing beats an iStick for being out and about when you want something small and easy to carry. I have small hands and it is much more comfortable to hold then the MVP's. However, nothing beats the vape I get with an Innokin device.

My problem with the iStick 30w is that it's a little too small for my largish hands. I would like it better if they added a little more length (maybe a cm or so) and more mah, while they're at it.

Can't beat it for a stealth mod though. I'm really disappointed that I couldn't make my derringer vape the way I like, with a tight enough draw, because my black derringer on my black iStick30 would be a terrific stealth mod! But instead I'm probably going to put my incoming Achilles (if it ever gets here!) on the black iStick. Really glad to be getting that Achilles though, because one of the recipes I'm working on uses 2 diff tank cracker flavors. :)

I second the wanting more mah. If it just had the same battery as the 50 w, it would be pretty perfect. :D

Hello everyone! I am curious if anyone has some input on the itaste vv v4? Right now i have no intention of rebuilding anything and are looking to make my v3 a back up. I was thinking that the v4 might last longer and help with flavor? I am primarily using a 510 atty and sometimes a clero. I will try some new tanks but that is another thread. Thanks in advance for your help.

I don't waste my time with fanboys and bandwagon jumpers if i can avoid it , most are just so ridiculously over the top you can't even listen to them . They think that device is the best mod ever made and no matter how many people finally come down to reality and realize that they were actually wrong about this devices quality there's no hope.

Well here is a thread that i was involved in and i kept telling this gentlemen that it was only a matter of time before his beloved stick would act up and cause issues but he insisted i was wrong .

The below is a very short but very telling thread from an iStick worshiper .

IT HAS BEGUN - iStick 50 auto firing like crazy.

It's not just the extreme lack of quality with the sticks although that was enough for me to know to avoid them , it's that Eleaf is an atrocious company that never takes care of their customers . I don't support and will never support companies like this , others will though.

I have personally spoken to a lot of e cig store employees , specifically the repair people who work on mods , all they say is e leaf devices are complete garbage , very very poor quality .

Even Phil Busardo said Eleaf does not make quality devices , he changed his mind after educating himself , he initially thought they were OK .

See ya

Don't have one, but a few 3s are in my rotation. Last I checked, they seemed a bit high for the slight increase in mAh, but should be a good device.

But it you're considering other toppers, you might also consider the Coolfire IV, which seems to be well received. Or stepping to something with replaceable batteries.

Rut ro... I think I may have a problem with my brand new CF IV. :( I can't seem to change the wattage OR voltage setting; it seems to be utterly stuck at 10w -- which is where I usually leave it, but when breaking in a new wick I always decrease it to 9 or 9.5 and only go up after the wick starts vaping really well. Is there some kind of "lock" setting that isn't mentioned in the little manuaal, or do I have a problem? I've turned it on and off, both with 3-clicks and the off/on button on the bottom; I've switched to voltage mode, and it's also stuck, at 5.5v. It'll do everything else it's supposed to... except change the wattage or voltage. :(

Don't have one, but have you tried holding the + and - buttons together for about 3 seconds? That's the procedure to lock/unlock setting changes on the SVD, SVD2, so maybe it's the same on the CF?

You have to pres on either the +/- button for about 5 seconds until it starts blinking and then you can change them. Stops accidental V/W pocket bumps.
