Typical these days is about half that, but I understand where you're coming from. The "key" is, of course, don't order from overseas what you want in a hurry.

On that Chi You kick ring, FT was the only place I could find the brass one, AT ALL -- so if I wanted it, I had to order from FT, and that will continue to be the ONLY way I'll ever order from them again.

I've ordered stuff from HK, which really ain't that far from China, and gotten stuff in as little as 2 wks, or as much as 3; with that FT order, I figured, a month, based on the whining/complaining I read around here all the time -- but that 6wks+1day surpassed even my own worst-case-scenario.

Andria, I have no idea when you ordered from FT, but was it possibly during the "slow down" at the west coast docks? That slowed everything down to backwards when it was going on.

I ordered it about a week before their "new year" festivities -- Feb I think. And it got shipped out the very next day, so I'm like WHEEE! But then it took 6wks+1day to get here. Since their "new year" stuff started a full week after it was shipped, I'm pretty sure it was clear of their "holiday" crap before it even started... and it hit NYC after about 3 wks... the remaining 3 wks were down to a) Customs, and b) Flushing, NY's PO.

As I said... the number of imbeciles between me and them.

I ordered recently from Frog in Fog, in HK, and I was afraid the west coast crap would delay that, but it was only a few days past when I expected it, so that wasn't bad. The main problem seems to be in NYC and environs. When I've ordered from HK and it hit FL on entry to the US, it didn't take long at all, though FL's USPS leaves MUCH to be desired; when I ordered from HK and it hit NYC on entry... slooooooooooowwwww.

I have over 30 orders from FT, the longest was 49 days during the shipping meltdown Sept of 2013, and the fastest has been 10 days, but on average 15 days from order to delivery. I only order "in stock" or "ships next day" and get it in what I feel is a reasonable time. I wouldn't let a one time shipping nightmare turn you off on any supplier. I had an order from Washington state take 3 weeks to get to Florida, longer than 90% of my FT orders. Sometimes USPS just REALLY SUCKS. JMHO :)

I'm sure that's true -- sometimes I get orders fast from ECX, but sometimes there seems to be a black hole or some other Disturbance In The Force between Bellingham and Seattle -- it'll just bounce 2 or 3 times before it finally shows up in Atlanta! Naturally, orders from BCV in NC are usually very fast to Atlanta, but Durham seems to have its own occasional Black Hole problem. :D

I do still order from HK, but most of the stuff I find on FT that I might be interested in buying, I can find in the US for only a little more -- I first spotted the "Galileo" on FT and really liked its looks and its price (about $25), but the reviews of it were terrible, so I searched the name and found out that the REAL smoktech version of it was only $10 more at madvapes, and it didn't have those awful reviews, so I got that one instead -- and it's terrific! And I got it in less than a week.

My temperament is just not suited to FT. 2-3 wks, I can kinda more-or-less deal with... anything longer, and I'm a basket case. I read that thread "Why YOU should not order from FT" and took it to heart -- unless I simply cannot find whatever-it-is from a US or any other vendor, it's really best I don't order from them.

..and THEN it took 43 days to reach me
This is exactly why I have ordered, and most probably always will order, from an on-line vendor that is in the same country that I am in. So far, I've had everything that I ordered on-line in 3 or 4 days. Of course, I'm sure that Mr. Murphy has read my post, and he's saying to himself, "Well let's see what I can do about that"..

First let me say I frequent China web sites to save money so I am no China hater. I also understand it is a long travel and I do not expect it within a few days from order to doorstep. That being said two thing really peeve me. First is the processing time from when the order is placed until it hits the mail. Next is the pre orders being disguised. I just cringe when I see "ships in X number of days". That tells me they are not stocking and it is indeed a preorder. To ad insult to injury the few days turn into weeks or even months. Excuses galore. It is always the manufacturers fault. To sum it up frustration saves money.

The Purple Coolfire 4 IV is on sale now at MVS. I know in a few posts above, Dreamer13, you expressed an interest in it. I don't know if you already have it by now though..

I got it already and love it! Good timing too because my stick 20w was starting to act up on me. Thanks for the thought though!

Update for MVP 60w- It's now 3 weeks in for the my blue MVP 60w and I've had no problems what so ever. It has just been boringly reliable. In fact both of my MVP 60ws (the other is black so I wouldn't get them mixed up) have been great. I'm still using the original coils in both my iSub and iSub G, but I vape at 15w to 18w. I'll update again next week to to keep the record going and then it will be monthly unless a problem arises.

VaporTek is taking pre-orders on the Disrupter at $49.99. Expected in stock date of July 31. Can't say I like any of their color combinations.

You make your own color combo!
The mod part is silver or black then you choose the battery color that you want to pair with it.

I'm really surprised at this low price. Other pre-orders elsewhere are in this range lower than the MVP 3.0 Pro. Not sure why. Perhaps Innokin feels additional battery sales may boost the profits.

Hi all. It's been awhile since I've been here, But I want to upgrade my little eleaf 20w and thinking about the Innokin Coolfire IV 40W. Are those who use the coolfire IV happy with it? I do not sub ohm. lowest I go is about 1.2ohms on my coil builds.

I also need to upgrade because I want to give my 20w to my hubby because he went and dropped his MVP in a glass of water (How he did that I have no idea ) We let it out and it is working, But I'm not really comfortable letting him continue to use it.

Hey Home Girl, good to see you surfing around ECF. I had one of the first CFIV's here and as I have reported before, really like it. It is really comfortable in the hand. The most comfortable box I have held. It appears to be strong and well built like many of the innokin line. Did I say I really like it? The battery life is what it is and appears to be a true 2000mah capacity.

The only knit I have found to pick with it so far is that the spring loaded contact pin is not deep enough with some attys that are known for super long 510 post. I have an origional subtank and it does not seat all flush with the device when screwed down. It only seems to effect atty's with longer post. The black subtank that was just released screws down tight.
