Edit: my tank does have the flathead post on the bottom. Would I be able to mess with that and maybe see if that helps? It's an eleaf air tank.
Definitely try adjusting the post on your tank, if you can. Since the MVP3 is spring-loaded, though, there isn't much you can do on that end.

I went down to one of my local vape shops and it didn't fire any of the tanks we put on it so it looks like the waiting game for an exchange. :/

I have a question... I hope someone can help me with. I am using Nautilus mini tanks, im noticing on my cf4 both of them that my ohms reading are going up. It used to always be 1.9 but now I'm up to 2.2 or 2.3 is this an indication that my coil is on its way out or is this a problem with my cf4?

That always happens to me when my coil is starting to get gunked up. Sometimes they still taste and vape okay, but that's generally when it's about time to replace them.

Bummer, but at least it was quick, so should be no problems with an exchange.

Depends.... on how long you've been working those coils. Their resistance will go up over time, and that time will vary with the gauge of the coil. I usually build single bottom coils with 32, fits nicely for the final value I want. They start at 1.7 Ω and slowly go up. When they hit above about 2.4, I set them aside until I have enough to warrant a recoil session.

My KFs and similar, being the tootle-womper I am, I use 30, and it takes those longer to work up to recoil time.

Ive been going hardcore on the coil for about 3 weeks. Everything seems fine..no wierd taste or anything. Is it okay to let it go up to 2.4 before i change it out? I just charged it and hooked it back up and its reading at 2.0 right now ...Is it normal to go up and down instead of just slowly up?

Sure, you can use it as long as you're happy with the performance and flavor. If in VW mode, the device will automatically increase the voltage to maintain the watts. At some point, it may increase enough to be out of the device's operating range, or you may find the fall-off of flavor to be too much for your tastes before that.

I just use those numbers based on my experience and tastes. And since I do rebuild everything I vape, it's easy for me to have a "cutoff point."

Just picked up some Aspire ET-S BDC glass clearomizers today. My last two I16 clearomizers were both leaking. I thought I would give these a whirl on my MVP2, (and also my VV3). Having done little reading of them, I was kind of going in blind. (I was intending to pick up some more I16s and my B&M store was out.).
Having used this all day today, I have to say I am really enjoying the vape I am getting from this clearomizer.
Have any of you guys used this? I know they've been out a while. I'd be interested in how some of you liked these if you've been using them long term. How well does the glass hold up? I've never used a glass clearomizer before. While I never drop my equipment, I've been known to knock them over. Are they pretty sturdy?
Any info/advice about your experience with them would be welcomed.
Thanks!

Don't use those, but have a lot of glass clearos. (And I'm sure someone who does use them will be along!)

Haven't had any problems EXCEPT with some "glass" from FT, which wasn't advertised as pyrex, and wasn't :) Others, like my PTs, PT2s, minis and Davide versions of the same, have given me good service through fall-overs (them, not me, yet!) and the occasion drop to softer surfaces. Pyrex is pretty sturdy.

The big advantage, of course, is never having to be concerned that your flavor can damage it, as some flavors will dissolve some plastics.

No one ever answered my question about the Cool Fire IV puff counter. Once it hits 1000+ the display where the fourth digit is freaks out, it does the same even if display is reversed. Some type of software issue I'm guessing.

Does anyone elses do this? I will try to capture a picture later, I'm at 741 currently so it will be a while.
