my 3 still work, but all are afflicted with that pushed-down-post problem, so they've been filed under "extreme backup".

Thanx to Kat's (recent?) $10 regular, $12 Nature find...I loaded up on VV V3's.

I keep an unbent paper clip in my ejoose tray. If change to a different topper...takes 1-3 seconds to raise the pushed-down-510-pin...

I use those ubiquitous bluedrivers. :D I just got sick of having to do that everytime I changed the topper or had to refill, plus the 800mAh is so limiting. But they're great to keep onhand for "just in case."

I'm now a total convert to CoolFire IVs. :D

Oh, and by the way, RIP little white V3.
We had a good run, oh yes we did. 5/31/13 -- 10/20/15

I have to say (in their defense?), the lil V3s are STILL the best O&A (purse) mods, ever.

sorry to hear of the demise with VV3 wht

mine has been has been relegated to ‘vape bench’ duties
works great for -- dry burn~check for shorts~Ω tester
leave it plugged in (passthru style) and it is always there

just if the 800mah lasted better, it might be the best of all time
it is 15mm x 15mm , if say it was 17mm x 17mm (18, 19) allowing MORE battery (mah)
it would be in EVERYONE’s pocket (innokin missed again) IMO

Been away from here for awhile and I think the vaping world has passed me by. I still use my MVP 11W daily but if it died (no indication that will happen) I would have no idea what to buy. Did they quit making MVP's? I thought they were like up to MVP 3's. Is the CFIV the new replacement for MVP? Searched up a pic and they look handy enough....

The MVP 2.0 11 watt was replaced with an identical case MVP 20W 20 watt with a spring loaded 510 connector, same 2600 mah. It was then complemented by a MVP 3.0 at 30 watts with a larger case, higher mah and fire button on the edge. That has since been replaced by a 60 watt Pro version. The discount shops have emptied their stock of 20W and 3.0 30 watts. Meanwhile the Coolfire 4 arrived and is a good choice for most people.

What's up with my CF4? Won't turn on. When I charge it the light just cycles red yellow green repeatedly. The screen flashes Innokin Technologies every 5 seconds.

No dropping nor impacts just unused for 4 weeks while I was using I sticks exclusively. Was fully charged and hard switch was off for that time.
Hate to say it...I bought a MVP Pro. Glad I did after i saw my co workworkers cf4 today.

I've been using my Blue MVP 3.0 Pro 60w since 6/15/15 and it has been stellar. Not a single problem. I liked it so much that I bought a second in Black. They alternate for my EDVs. Mine have been dropped on concrete, asphalt, wood, and pretty much everything in the world it could fall or land on. Mount Baker Vapor did a destruction vid on youtube up to and including smashing it to half its width with a rock, it still vaped!

My iSub G tanks were along for the ride when I dropped the MVPs and they've survived too. Innokin might not be pretty but they sure build stuff sturdy. I've had a few jobs involving repairing medical equipment, cars, diesels, and chain driven ovens. I appreciate equipment that's built to last and few things are these days as most people know. When I decided to quit smokes for good I wanted something that would last, Innokin was mentioned time and again.

All that being said, my next mod will be the iTC/Inno TC that should be out soon, Temp Control is something I want to try. Replaceable batteries will be nice too. I'll still use my MVP 60w mods though, I've grown to like them too much to just toss them.

Guess you wouldn't have taken to these then, Ms. D.

Oh thanks, pufZ. It's perfectly fine. As I said, we had a good run, and it served its purpose.

We still have several others, and I picked up a silver vine that is still in its box, unwrapped, so it'll be a loverly replacement.

With over a dozen mods in my stable, the VV3 is still what goes to work with me on the machinery.

I don't know what it is about the little V3 that I just love so much! Like you, Cap, I've got several others in the arsenal, but there's just something about the iTazte that I love. Maybe it brings old skool back in some way. It's the current eGo device? I love the size, the weight, the sort of "there's nothing to it" aspect.

They just plain work. I'm a Yankee and we like things that work :) I have abused the living daylights out of these things and they keep on taking it. I have told the story before of one that spent the winter on a clients lawn under our record New England snow last year and found in the spring. Charged it up and vaped like a charm. Floated down rivers, smashed in machinery, drop test, they just take a pounding.

They are also diminutive so they don't get in my way or hang up on things. For the beginning vapor coming off of stinkies, it fits the hand well and is much less intimidating than larger devices. For the price of an Ego you can have a full function device. Discontinuing this device was one of Innokins biggest mistakes. The VV4 is just that much bigger and bulkier (and more expensive) and they do not improve the line. I have one and it sits at the back of the desk for emergency duty.

If any one would still like to stalk up on one or two of these, the Nature Aditions can be found for $14.95 with cheap delivery at http://www.ecigaretteempire.com/product-p/initvv30eskneenacbx.htm?1=1&CartID=0

Not really sure what they are, actually... but they look kinda smallish, so probably not much battery life. When I went from the eRoll to the vv3, I was in heaven, 800mAh compared to the few minutes the eRolls lasted. But here at the computer, I usually kept it on pass-thru, because otherwise it just didn't last very long. When I got the sigelei Zmax and 2 18650s, again I was in heaven, but it got to be a constant thing, after 6-7 hrs, surprise! your battery needs charging! Then I got an iStick30... and was absolutely amazed. So I got another, and then a CF4 (which lasts about the same), then those 2 etched ones. So at this point, that 800mAh would probably seem kinda like that eRoll did. With my 2 etched CF4s, which each last all day (14-16 hrs), and I alternate them daily, I never have to worry about having enough battery charge. If I'm going away for the whole day, I take them both, just because, you know, *life*, but so far it hasn't been necessary to have both, just a precaution against the constant risk of the occurrence of feces. Because that stuff seems to happen when you're least prepared for it. ;)

Well...there is the VV V4. 15.9mm x 15.9mm and 1000 mAh.

15W and no TC...and $10-$15 more expensive than the TC40W iStick, eVic-VTC Mini and Cloupor Mini Plus.

I've considered a vv4 very seriously, because I just love that chromatic one, but then I read that the vv4 doesn't have a spring-loaded battery-post, same as the vv3s, so it would be prone to that same problem. Considering that that problem is the major reason I retired them, it just doesn't seem like a good use of money, even *with* better battery life. But I'm completely thrilled with the CF4s; Innokin did a fandamntastic job with those.

I didn’t realize the VV4 was bigger square

when released, the price was so high
and the small mah, in my mind it was doomed from the get-go…

and as you say, many many more better’er devices out now

but at-the-time, in its day , the VV3 ruled (in my world)

I would think the O ring fix of the MVP 2.0 should work on the VV3 as well

You said it best and you said it well! They are what they are, but still and all, I'd rather not be without a few of them! I really DO like them, that much.

And that sale is pretty damm good!

Do I need another one??

By the way, and I have no clue if anyone is interested or cares, but I took the little dead white one to recycle at Radio Shack. I wasn't sure if they'd take it, but yes, they sure did!

Those are lil itty bitty 400 mah eGos.

And yes, I've still got them.
